I think the mechanic are quite interesting, but I didnt really feel the progression, I get a new monkey every so often but at the end of the day I'm just clicking the same bananas and waiting for the stock price to go up so I can sell, even though the numbers go up, my experience is the same.
Overall an interesting little game

I enjoyed the game a lot! However, I felt like the moneys kept overshooting their destination when they went to get bananas.

Developer

They really like to overshoot as they are actually just VERY fast navmesh agents. The entire scale of the city is like 1500x the normal cube so Unity really doesn't like the way it is made.

Funny monkey economy simulation. I agree with some of the others that it would have been nice if the simulation was a bit faster.

It is creative in that it is not just a simple stock trading game but also takes charge of production and conveys the situation intuitively.

Fun setup, progression was a bit slow. Curious to see more of that !

Developer

Very unfortunate timing as I'm right now uploading an update to fix progression. Its still the same game, so probably not worth replaying. But thanks for playing regardless :)

Interesting concept. I'd like to see this developed further. The progression could have been a bit quicker.

Developer

I really tried to estimate in excel how long each step would take AFTER cutting most values in half in the balance update. In the initial version the values were extremely out of whack.

I bought bananas today and randomly started eating them while playing this game, not even seeing the synchronicity until the third bite. As for the game, it's ok, don't understand much. I clicked one banana and monkey started going to it. I sent it a few times and then noticed two more bananas. I was wondering how a monkey could fetch all those bananas, but when I saw that I have 3 monkeys there was no end to my joy.

This was intriguing.  I loved the look of it and was impressed with how much you got into it during a jam.  I'm not sure I fully understand all the strategies of it, but I had fun poking around in it.  I hope you get a chance to expand it.

Definitely has potential, but it's quite janky in the current state. I enjoyed it anyway, though :D good stuff!

Oh the banana markets! This is a fun take on resource gathering, I think the market value adds some strategy that could really take this game to some interesting places. Fun game!
