This was really cool! I loved the walking and goo animation, and I think the ability of hardening and melting your slime to add new platforms adds a lot of interesting puzzle opportunities!

This is awesome. I think there's a lot of room for growth and improvement, but when it comes to a unique ability, this was one of my favorite entries. Smooth out the controls and then give me some puzzles and I could see myself putting hours into this game.

Awesome entry. Great work.

This is super great! I love the idea, and it's so smooth!! I love the artstyle!

The platforming movement is a bit odd, but the unique mechanic is very fleshed out. For the platforming controller, when using unity you can create a new physics material to put into the collider and remove friction to remove getting stuck to walls. I hope this helps! Here's an article about it: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-PhysicsMaterial2D.html

Awesome, thanks for checking it out! cheers for the advice, I'll take a look into that as I'm definitely looking to get it solved either in the next round or if I expand on this in the future.

Very very very cool but also buggy.

Developer

I agree, there's definitely room for more improvement for the actual movement controller of the character, once these are added it should feel a bit smoother. Thanks for giving it a try!

I wanted to play this game when I first saw it and now that I figured out how to use the itch app I finally can. This is really impressive and is easily one of my favourites!

Awesome! This is amazing! Goo game gang lets rise up! I guess oil isnt goo tho, anyways, games with fluids in it gang! LETS RISE UP LESSGO! WIth that aside, your game is amazing! The fact that the goo then has another purpose when you solidify it is just amazing! One of my favorite games so far! Amazing work!

Good job! I think you’ve done really well at creating both an interesting character AND a good mechanic. Based on that alone, you’ve got my highest rating so far :)

Awesome! Thanks very much!

What a cute character! Is that a mouse in a little UFO style Mech?!  Very cute. I also like the slime-effect from the left click of the mouse. However, the right-click ability doesn't seem to work. I tried pointing it at the ceiling rocks, and at the floor, but it didn't do anything other than make the little lazer light.

That said, lovely game! Can't wait to see more!

Developer

Awesome! Thanks for trying it out! I should have communicated it a bit better in the description but you use right click on the goo you've made to turn it back into a solid. There's definitely bits that I feel can be improved so I might expand on it after the jam too!
