cool ideas!!!!
now this was a really unique puzzler. I didn't beat it but got through the first 3-4 levels. Pulling off trick shots was pretty fun. I dunno if the later levels had it, but it would be fun to incorporate hazards like explosions and such. I loved the glass windows as well.
Damn, that's some fine idea, might think about it if I'm going to polish it in the future :)
Thanks for playing!
Quite interesting. There were a couple of times where I felt like the collision might be a little inconsistent (i.e. went through a window for sure, but the window was still intact, or bounced off the edge a little too far out from it), but that's quite forgivable for the game jam ^_^
I did sometimes feel a little like I was just doing trial-and-error to see exactly where I had to aim the collision... it felt like I couldn't predict which way it was going to bounce, so I'd just practice each one and then execute them all once I had them all. That did feel a little tedious, so, something to watch out for, but all in all this was really fun and I played it all the way through. ^_^ Thank you for making it!
Yeah, those collisions... That should be some really basic stuff, but I just couldn't make it consistent. Thanks a lot for your honest feedback and thanks for playing! :)
This was a great time, enjoyed playing that. Got stuck on a level for ages but still managed to get through the whole game and save the business men XD
I think with some varied gameplay and more mechanics you could make this game much fuller and more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend that you continue development of this game.
That's so kind of you, thanks! I might one day expand on that initial idea :)
This is probaby my favourite game I've played this jam. It was tons of fun to play. Really challenging, but it was SOOOOO satisfying when you finally figured out the optimal angle to hit a target.
Thanks, it means a lot!
15/15 everything in this game feels fun and well designed. Good job
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed my little game :)
I loved this so much! Gameplay, art, music, writing! Such a great game!
That's some really kind feedback, thanks a lot :)
What an amazing idea!! Great execution as well. The art, music and controls are all on point.
Thanks a lot!
I'm not sure how I feel about limiting the number of shots you can make. But overall a really nice game !
Thanks for your feedback. I didn't want the situation, where player could simply spam shooting bullets everywhere and also didn't want to place hostages at every corner to make it even.
I'll take that in consideration though, should I ever expand that little game :)
I thought so. I was thinking you might make the terrorists move between failed shots. But then, there's no good way for the player to fail other shooting a hostage or running out of bullets. So with limitless bullets it mostly becomes a waiting game...
Heh, that was interesting. Liked the overall style of the game)
Thanks for playing!
You've really got the mechanic down to a T in this. ^? Would be interesting to see where you take the idea in the future. :)
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it :)
The game is very fun and you did an excellent job with the theme. I couldn't get past the 3. level. If you want to continue working on this game even after the jam you could try having infinite ammo or being able to move to see if these improve or worsen the game.
Thanks for playing and for your feedback! I might try that and see what happens.
Yes, it's indeed a quite clever approach, being able to see only one layer of entities at a time. It's good puzzling but I found it a bit tedious to play for the harder levels, there's not so much room for improvisation and there's often only one solution to kill one guy. Good game anyway, well done !
Thank you very much for your feedback! You are absolutely right about lack of improvisation space, one of my biggest regrets so far.
This is easily one of the best games I've played in this game jam. Good work!
Thanks, it means a lot to me :)
Very very nicely done. The aesthetic is great and the theme idea was excellent, one of the best I have played. The only thing I could not judge is the audio as my headphones broke sadly.
nice work!
RIP Headphones :) Thanks a lot for playing, and it's awesome that you liked it.
That's pretty clever. Nice.
Thanks a lot!
This game was very good, but also hard.
Thanks for playing, and for feedback :)
This game was a blast, instantly addicting. It takes a little bit of messing around to get used to the bullet trajectories, but even just experimenting was fun - plus, it felt super rewarding whenever I felt like I had a good mastery of the controls! The only constructive criticism I can offer is maybe add in a way to better trace bullet trajectories. Once again, though, still crazy fun as is.
Thank you a lot for your feedback. I was actually trying to add some bullet trajectory prediction, but I guess it got lost somewhere in my TODO list along the way. Glad you liked it nevertheless! Cheers!
Love the game - easy perfect score. Great concept, level design and execution. Fits the theme perfectly and original as far as I can tell. Keep developing and I could see people paying for it - at least I would
Thank you so much :)
A polished game with an interesting original mechanic. My only complaint is the hard to read font.
Glad you liked it, I'll keep that in mind for future!
