It was short, but also really tense. The character itself was not bad, felt heavy enough and maneuverable.

Neat project!

Made it to the end with only 21 retries haha

As a platformer there is a lot of different things you can try to add to your game to diversify the gameplay. Look a bit toward small feedbacks around the player actions that will add some juiciness!

Couldn't get pass level 7 but this game is amazing! I love it, I would've loved to hear some sound FX.
Crazy fun game, would work perfectly on a mobile, or with a controller! You deserve more ratings, you should definitely post this game in the under-20-ratings chat in discord.
Congratulations on making this game within 48-hours!

If you haven't yet, I would really appreciate it if you check out our game too!

OH, this needs more levels!

Great work for a game jam, do you plan to keep working on it because I was thoroughly enjoying the gameplay until it stopped :D

With more levels and other effects, you could make a full game.

How about, it starts out as a simple platformer, second level introduces this single touch mechanic, the game then continues like that for a few levels until it introduces a "blocks move only when you stand on them" mechanic which then continues like that for a few more levels then introduce another new mechanic lets say blocks rotate until you stand on them (requires timing)

These types of mechanics could be mixed up and jumbled together to go on for loads of levels. Mix in some level design and you would have LOADS of possibilities.

What I'm saying is, great possibilities with this one, keep it going!

Thanks for playing, I'm really glad you liked it. Will consider your suggestions if game will be developed further in the future.

This is very satisfying to control! I think this could work better as a type of puzzle, and less as a platforming challenge. The simplistic style is very fitting, but as someone mentioned here the button and the goal don't really fit the style. Still - great game! You should continue working on this, it has a lot of potential!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that more puzzle-like levels could be added and also the button and portal assets could be tweaked to better fit the theme.

Game feel is great, in the first levels I got really into a fast game flow. But as already mentioned, the blocks directly above the character were difficult to move around, which was breaking this flow for me. I love the visual, but the button and goal felt visually a bit out of place for me.

But overall a great idea, and a nice amount of levels, good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it. Yeah, level progression could be better and also the button and goal assets were not the best but there wasn't enough time to tweak it in the end.

Very tricky platformer. Simple idea with great execution. I thought the levels with the blocks directly above were particularly dastardly, but a cool idea nontheless!

Would you mind looking at our entry?

Thanks! Will check your game ofc :)

Minor game feel thought - gravity is maybe a little too strong and/or your x speed is not high enough.  Otherwise it's pretty responsive.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Will adjust this if further development will be done.

Great game, controls are super tight and feel very very good to jump around. I really like the feeling of trying to jump around touching as little as possible of the other blocks, and i appreciate that even if you end up killing a couple of blocks, you can still make it with a little bit of finesse.
Really fun game overall, 5 stars

Thanks, really glad you liked it!

Simple and fun idea. Tricky platforming. Really like this.

Thanks!

I dig the concept, but really wish it was more of a puzzle than precision platformer.

Developer

Thanks, good point, was thinking of adding more puzzle-like levels but there wasn't enough time at the end so I had to go with what I had at that point.

controlls feel pretty good. no idea how to solve level 6

Developer

Thanks, you can solve lvl 6 by going right until you reach the end of the bottom row and then jump on upper row and continue left until you reach the portal :)

Submitted

I like the style, a good start for sure, I think more levels and an indicator for where the final portal is gonna show up so you don't mash through the blocks you might need later would be helpful but other than that, I like it! :)

Developer

Thanks! Yeah I wanted to do more levels and also the indicator was on the to-do list but there wasn't enough time at the end.

A neat concept! I would recommend adding some music or sound effects if possible.

Developer

Thanks! About the music, good point, I had it in mind but had to skip it to finish other stuff in the end.
