Creative application of the theme that was genuinely fun to play. Would enjoy a full version of this game with persistent upgrades and skills.

as someone who is making a tower defense game where the character can move around lay towers. I was really into this design. Using the one tower makes things frantic. And the upgrade system was cool.  The currency system was interesting b/c normally you get currency for killing enemies but here you had to move away from your tower which was a risk reward b/c then it could take you longer to move the tower if you needed and I think that was the magic of the design right there. Without that aspect it wouldn't felt as good

I love the micro missions of gem collecting. Really keeps your mind fresh throughout the game.

Awesome and cute graphics, cool sounds, great and addictive gameplay.  I like little animations such as screen shake at every shot which make you feel that the tower is really powerful. And you can even get an achievement for a cool hat :)

Most satisfying experience I've had in a while for a Jam game. The graphics are ace and the gameplay is engaging (despite the weird targeting behavior) that ultimately show a lot of character and ingenuity in game design.

Great promise on this game! I love the core gameplay and could see it leading to a full fledged game.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! After the rating period is over, we will relase an update fixing this targeting (which we didn't prioritize during the jam unfortunately), and many other bugfixes/improvements. We too are curious to see this mechanic in a full game, with more complexity and depth!

This was just cute, clever and really dang good! Had a great time! And what an ending!

Some music would have made it perfect, just to get into the correct mood!

Completely agree! We choose to not put any BGM because we didn't find the right one, and for us, it's better to have a good SFX with no music, than a random music that doesn't fit the game well. In the next few days I'll do some bugfixing and I'll try to find a good music to fit the experience, thank you so much for the feedback!

Really cool implementation of One Tower Tower Defense. I like small design decisions that makes this game stand out among others, like you are always occupied with collecting gems while tower is shooting and time stops when you upgrade it. Very clever) Good luck!

Loved it :D! Best one of the jam I've seen so far :)! Gave a dollar too :D.

+ Collecting gems and getting powerful upgrades felt very rewarding!

+ Moving much faster with the turret makes interesting choices!

(+ Great graphics and sound effects!)

- You can't see your tower through the boss.

- Can't move with arrow keys.

Holy Maccheroni, thank you so much man. I agree with every feedback there, we will update in the next few days a fix for the two things that you said, the first one we didn't have enough time to implement, the second one I've just forgot to do hahaha.
Let me share with you that you were the first person ever that gave us money for our personal projects, and that was really important to us, thank you so much for that. And here's a photo of me and Rodolfo enjoying a cup of coffe that we bought with the dollar, it represents a important day for us.

There's a great sense of tension in this game. My only wish is that the tower would target the enemies closest to the end of the track, rather than closest to the tower. Great concept and excecution though :D

I completely agree, I've noticed this problem way too close to the end of the jam. I'll fix that in a future update after the rating period is over. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Top quality game! congrats. Unique concept and great execution, I like how the running speed is integrated in the design and how you run faster while carrying the turret. Also beautiful art. If you can check and rate our game, definitely rougher around the edges :)

Yeap! Pixel art is by far my favorite art for these jams, it's quick to do and the aesthetic feels super right even with low budget. Yet, this one was my friend Rodolfo that did, he's really good at it. My other games I've did it myself. Thanks a lot for the feedback :D

I love the risk/reward game design in the sense that you can move faster, and therefore get more upgrades if you carry your tower with you, but this leaves you open for attack. Great game!
