Nice, short and hard. The timer really makes the game very hard in some levels but still solvable. It needs good precision to perform actions correctly in time. Overall, it is a really fun game. Nice work.

Short, but sweet. The physics on one of the levels was kinda messed up, but it was beatable.

Nice little puzzle game. I've finish it in 5min. Really great and nice to play.

This is neat *gpu fan noises*
I gave it good rating

Great game! Really juicy and polished! Original concept as well and can (and should) be expanded on! The only thing I noticed was that the enemies don't stop moving even in really tight areas which looks a little weird. However this does not impact the gameplay at all so really good job!

Developer

Yeah I planned to address the jerky enemies but in the end I simply didn’t have time. Thank you for your review!

Good concept, the one jump one attack mechanics work great and fit the theme well, the bounce pads were a neat addition too, the minimalistic look works well here, i especially liked the fact that every useful info is displayed directly by your character.

I'd say there are still small issues though, i think since you are already limited by the fact that you have only one jump one attack etc... there really isn't a need for the time limit in levels i.m.o. also the bouncepads in one level didn't seem to boost you quite enough that made one of the jumps particularly hard, i'd say either boost them a bit, or have the player be able to jump in mid air if they didn't use their only jump before using the pads.

Otherwise it's quite good and has imediate fun when you play it

So congrats mate ! :)

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I’ll consider these things in the future

No prob, hope it helped

The idea with singe usage isn't original, BUT the realisation of it in this game is outsatnding. Great difficulty curve, nice levels with different mechanics, good learning curme and simple art. Well done.

I almost cried with the last level :(

Simple idea, but the execution is surprisingly interesting. Triggers the question "when do I use... x or y" and it is an interesting one.

Great job mate! :)

Watched it on the stream, very nice!

Loved it.... minimal but engrossing

Really beautiful art, the simplicity is on the point! Great choice of font as well (there is a lack in this so often). I love what you wrote about the sound design in the art thread as well.

For game design I struggle with the mentioned slipperiness also. And I am not sure if the time limit is really needed since the limited usage was already hard enough for me to complete the levels. Maybe this could be the hardcore mode? ;)

I guess after a bit of polishing with the gameplay you'll have a pretty decent perfect game! Looking forward to this!

Developer

Yeah I'm aware that the slipperiness is really bad, but simply didn't have enough time to figure out how to adress it. Thank you for your review!

The other comments covered most of what came mind playing this. The only thing I can add is that the text shifting between yellow and white while on a level with white walls made it hard to read.

Solid game! I think some of the challenges towards the end (like the vertically moving column with the two enemies stacked) were a little frustrating given the slipperiness of the controls.

I didn't fully grasp how the bouncers worked. Sometimes it seemed I would get bounced sky high, and other times it felt like I would bounce just a little bit. That said, it wasn't a barrier to finishing the game.

My favorite levels were the ones where you had to use your single-use of attack/jump to achieve a dual purpose. For example, there was an early level where you had to jump in between two enemies and press attack to kill both of them at the same time. I think those moments are where these single-use mechanics really shine. Nice work!

Developer

Yeah, the slipperiness is an issue I‘be been aware of from The beginning, my lacking programming skills is the only real reason it’s not addressed. Thank you for your review!

Super neat game! It's simple and has many levels. The only thing I didn't like is the time limit. It was pretty annoying, and the timer wasn't showing for me.

Developer(+1)

No timer showing? Man, that's bad, don't know what to do about that :(. The timer was a last minute implement as I thought the game got a little stale without it, but I'll take your critique to heart!

Submitted(+1)

No worries, your game was one of the best ones I played so far.

Submitted(+1)

I found it very fun to play, no critique to make

I like it!

Brilliant game! i love the graphics and the mechanics, but there was an error with the text and the text was glitchy... but great game!

Developer

Glitchy  text? that's no good! Feel free to elaborate on the issue and I'll see if there's anything I can do

I really love the premise of this game, not to mention the fact that the art style was really neat looking - the last level with the ground pound lava boys was super frustrating but in a good, "I'm bad at puzzle games" kind of way rather than a "rr game design" kind of way which is perfect so good game brother HH

Submitted(+1)

This was good! I liked the simplicity of the art style, and the time limit put a bit of pressure on the player to complete the levels, so it became more about practice than luck! Plenty of levels for a game jam game, over all a very good job, well done!
