How does your game fit the theme?
Your laser eyes are uncontrollable: you can't turn them off. This means that to get around the game you have to actively avoid staring at stuff such as TNT so as not to burn it (and blow yourself up alongside it).

Wow some lovely art here! The TNT fx was very well thought out

Developer

Thanks! Not many people notice that kind of stuff.

Really enjoyed this one. Similar core idea to our but puzzle game route.

Nice visuals and nice music! Good job!

Super fun gimmick, makes for some great puzzles. Cute aesthetic as well, good job! Maybe in a post-jam version the boxes could have gravity? Could make for more puzzle elements.

Developer(+1)

As we discuss doing a post-jam boxes with gravity are definitely on the table

I really enjoyed many aspects of this game! From the cutscenes, to the level design, and the addition of mechanics, this game is quite a package! I guess all I would want is a proper ending, but otherwise, stellar game!

A nice puzzle game idea. I think this game is let down by its level design though. I want more levels that require me to use the laser in thoughtful ways, and fewer where I die because I missed a fast input or shot boxes that weren't even visible.

Great art and music, props for doing it all during the jam!

Developer

Yeah, the level design can improve a lot. We are actually quite surprised by the amount of people that like the level design, it was a very last moment thing. As we're getting more and more positive comments for what we thought was a strongly mediocre game, we're considering making a post-jam, more polished, longer version with better levels. If you'd be interested in that, maybe consider following Café Ducha Siesta.

Like the concept a lot! I think it would be cool if you made it so you couldn't see as well behind the character. I think it would add even more difficulty!

I liked this a lot, the puzzles started out pretty straightforward but I really liked the extra challenge mirrors added, very well done!

This is amazing! All the concepts are clever, the assets are polished, the cutscenes are excellent, best game I’ve seen so far!

awesome concept, super creative and a ton of fun!

Really impressive how clever this gets!! Lots of thought put in each of these levels, especially once the reflection mechanic kicks in. Loved it.

Great game! Loved the animation and also great puzzle element. Very responsive lasers.

Really enjoyed playing it. The mirrors are awesome.

I really liked the concept. The addition of mirrors to the levels made it all a lot more interesting/challenging. A really good submission

Really cool concept, the mirrors added a lot to the game, and I loved the little intro animation, a cute setup to a great game.

This is my favourite so far. The setup/presentation is hilarious, it's a cool and unique idea that's still super simple to pick up, and there's so much room to add and improve mechanics and levels. Bravo!!!
