Nice idea. discouragingly hard though!
nice game a really good spin on a classic game
Love the idea, just wish is was a bit slower though!
Such a wicked concept! An idea I had would be if it was slower, a little side bar/map of how high up you are would be really cool
Had a lot of fun playing this, and really good are and sound design
Fast little game exploring a fun mechanic.
All in all, I enjoyed your game.
Controlling the platform is a nice feature with which I think you have implemented the theme of the jam.
I like the sound design very much. Especially the music is great. It's not annoying but it fills an emptiness that would probably be there otherwise.
I don't have to say much about the graphics either. Looks good. Only thing is, the barbarian doesn't really fit in with the rest of the game. There you have chosen a relatively modern graphic style, next to which the barbarian looks like stolen from a NES game.
But what I really like is that the platforms outside the tower turn into clouds.
But I have to disagree with almost everyone here in the comments section. In my opinion, the barbarian did not jump too fast. The only thing that felt weird was death. To be more precise, I think the spider is moving upwards in a fixed time? For me it would be better if it was always at the same distance from the players. So that you can fall down maybe 3-4 platforms before you die. The way it is, dying felt random.
But this is complaining on a high level. I had fun with the three levels of your game.
I really liked the aesthetics of the game. The mechanics are a little frustrating but original
Good concept that could make for a really good game however the speed at which the player jumps at does not match the movement speed of the platforms, making it jarring when trying to play. Good job though! Keep it up!
A little to fast, but a interesting gameplay. Well done!

Great visuals and concept for the game. It's a bit fast for my slow mind so maybe a slower mode would be more suited to the casual audience. The music is also very fitting and sets the mood very well.
Good concept! I think the player jumps too fast. Maybe slow down the player and increase the platform move speed will help a lot!
Exactly the same thoughts from me! Maybe even if the platforms followed the mouse to make fine and fast movements more effective?
Aside from bouncing too fast, the platforms can be longer to make it easier to play. Vice versa. So that it can be longer in the beginning, but shorter in the end of the level, to make difficulty gradually increase.
Art is neat though. Well done!
The barbarian jumps too quickly! its really hard to move ahead unless you get lucky. Aside that I liked the music and presentation.
Very difficult game but I liked!
Like others have said, I was tune the bouncing to be a bit slower, but other than that it's a fun game. Great twist on the classic doodle jump
Really fun! Bouncing is a little fast but besides that it was tons of fun and looked very clean. Great game!
Great game! My feedback is aside from the bouncing, it would be better if you could let the players know where the cursor is :)
I like the aesthetic, and the goofy joyful premise of running away from a spider! Lol! Controlling the platforms is a clever twist too.
My only critical feedback is just echoing other comments. The bouncing was a bit too fast for me (I'm not everyone, and am happy to admit that I could just be bad at this, that's okay lol). I'd either slow down the bouncing (at least for the first level, maybe ramp it up as you progress in levels?) and/or zoom out the camera a bit.
Well done!
Great game it was super fun!!!
