How does your game fit the theme?
There is a BLACK HOLE disrupting and cause defense towers to malfunction and be placed randomly! Also your ship's main cannon is on the fritz and shooting wacky. It's all OUT OF CONTROL~

I really liked it!
I would love a new version with levels and ship upgrades!
Good luck!
Glad you liked it :D I like the game idea, so I do hope to add more or make a new/better game!
I really like the mix between top-down shooter and turrent defense, it's surprisingly interesting and fun. Good job!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad it was a good mix :D
It was really close but I managed to win on my first try without losing any health.
So awesome! I really need to code it so the planet health adds to the final score~
Really cool game. I like the simplicity behind it with a deceptively large amount of content. It would have been cool is you could make a decision to what you spend your coins on, or have some form of trade off come from your decisions a deep and interesting game play loop. Good Entry!
Thanks for the feedback and ideas!
Haha, i remember you! You were the first to review my game at the wowie 2.0 jam, which was also my first published game. I saw your profile pic in one of the comments.
Another great game you made. I really love Tower-Defense-Games with originality and yours is one of them.
Well done.
Hello again! The wowie jam was fun! Its cool you're still doing game jams~ they are great practice and give many cool game ideas! Thanks for playing :D
The physics when the ship spins is really funny to me. Which I think is a good thing. I also liked the graphics that you put in. The monsters may have had a little too much health. When I'm playing a shooter I want each of my shots to feel like they have impact. Maybe adding more minions spawning and making them faster may have helped. But the game is still pretty fun :)
Thanks for playing and the feedback! Did you put down towers as well? I think I need to make it more clear haha
Ooops yeah I didn't play that long or I didnt see them, my bad
nice game the td space shooter combo is weird but works
Thanks for playing! I'm glad the combo worked haha
What a great take on the tower defense formula! It embarrassingly took me a while to realize that the turrets were shooting the aliens and not the player. Still, the game was quite solid and enjoyable all around!
Thanks a bunch for playing! I do need to my a better intro/tutorial to show the mechanics hehe
I love tower defense games, and I really like what you've done with the mechanics! The towers malfunctioning sold me on the story that everything's gone haywire (and let me focus on my ship). Cool game!
Also, I think it's very engaging that some of the enemies leave the track. In most tower defense games, it gets repetitive with enemies staying on the track, but it felt like a paradigm shift when that first little bugger flew towards my ship off the track! I felt way too safe (so to speak) up until that point. Great idea!
Thanks for the feedback! I should introduce more variety earlier :D thanks for playing!
Great game! Love the art style and randomly placed tower mechanism.
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it~
This entry is amazing, love the visuals. Although i do think some of the stronger enemies were bullet sponges, other than that though this game is great. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for the feedback!
Had fun time with this one.
I think, that towers could be more visible though.
Thanks for checking it out! Good point~ I never got around to updating their sprites hehe
This was really fun! The art and the music are awesome and the unique gameplay is very addicting!
I'd really love an even more juiced up version of this! Great job!
Thanks for the comment! I hope to work on this some morr after i finish my current platform game~
A fresh approach to tower defence games. Like the artwork. Good job.
Thanks for giving it a try :D
Very nice presentation and cute story elements. The tutorial/narrative bit was pretty slow, I think the amount of information you delivered there could easily be absorbed while defending the planet from a really slow enemy or something super easy. I feel like that would reduce friction when starting the game. The yellow monster alien dudes/chicks? were super cute. The bullets felt a little slow, the enemies kept walking out of the way of them xD
Nice job overall!
Thanks for the awesome comment~ yeah i did the tutorial cutscene last. It could be better for sure XD
A bit slow, shooting didn't feel satisfying
Thanks for the feedback! I'll make the 1st wave faster and let the player get more towers earlier~
Keep up the awesome work!
Really like your setting and it was fun playing. Tower defense games are always really fun and I like the mechanic of having a controllable attacker. Good job and good luck!
I'm glad you gad fun! Thanks for playing~
I really enjoyed!
Look really polished and because of that i miss some juice (screen shake and sound effects) when I’m lose life or kill a enemy. But I just miss this things because of the other details you puted in your game such as the marks the enemies leave in the floor.
If you have time to try my game, will be awesome!
Thanks for the great comment! I actually tried to do screen shake. But it was making my parallax star backgrounds do weird movement ㅋㅋ i will try to figure it out :D
Really polished and fun game, great job! I like how taking away control from TD resulted in a kind of frantic action game. The difficulty felt reasonable, even if it eventually got to a point where most enemies got completely obliterated, as that's part of the TD experience I think. Great visuals and audio as well; very impressive for the time scale.
The one issue (that others have already said) is the placement mechanic did feel a bit hollow. With no choice, and no reason not to press E as soon as possible, it may as well have been automatic. If you plan to develop it further, maybe you could add some other use for the resource, like upgrading your ship's speed or fire rate. That way there would be a quick choice to make about how to spend it.
Thanks for the awesome comment and feedback~ I will try and think of some better ways to do the towers :D
nice game, I really like the graphics and music. Well done...
Thanks a bunch... :D
