Nice pixel graphics, I know making rotating sprites that look great is very hard to get right but you got them really right. One thing I thought that could be a really cool adaption to this would be different gun types, or more specifically making the turret a spinning flamethrower (maybe on a fuel meter that replenishes slowly?), but I really like the one bullet idea used here as well. Out of the different "you can't control the direction of where your shot lands" games, this is definitely the best implemented version. Having a consistent rotating turret allows the player to predict and know where they want to fire, and the only limitation is their own timing, which they can improve on through repeat playthroughs. Good game design, friend!
We also submitted a short 2-3 minute game for the jam, it would mean a lot if you could try out and give us some feedback on it, if you have the time :)

Nice little game. I like the pixel graphics. Some kind of variation would help in more engagement, like different type of enemy type, bullets, power ups etc. Overall nice game.

Awesome music, great concept! But the most notable idea for me was the "spam prevention" you implemented. Destroying previous bullets when shooting a new one is very clever!

Super cool, I like your interpretation of the theme. My one suggestion is to make the hitbox for the turret just a bit smaller to give the player one last second of frantic clicking before they lose. I found myself being surprised by how far away the zombies were able to hit me.

Very interesting and fun, though there is a very steep difficulty curve. Overall, good game!

The game idea is really nice and I like it. But maybe it's a little too hard for me XD
Suggestion: That you can shoot unlimited bullets without them to like disappear, and that you have more than 1 live.

Thanks for the feedback. The bullet cancelling mechanic is to stop spamming, although we could also implement some sort of overheat mechanic.
Pretty tough, only made it to 30 points.
That's better than I did the first time I tested it!
Fun game, I like the screen shake effect. The respawning bullet both prevents spamming and also doesn't penalise you too much.

It was fun playing your game! I like the timing aspect of shooting, feels like a carnival game. In my game I have a similar spinning turret haha. Awesome job submitting a fun game to this jam and I hope you improve your game making skills. If you have time, please check out my game :D

I like the aesthetic, but this bullet colliding with each other and being destroyed it's a turn off for me. Overall very good stuff. Well done.

Crisp art and nice idea. Not having a laser sight or something on the turret makes it quite difficult. I think the mechanic could be turned a very nice mobile rhythm game.
