Wow awesome job with the art! Looked super cool. The theme and narrative was fun too. I really like the idea of two kids trying to decide on a story, there is a lot of potential there. The game was tough since you'd almost always get hit yourself when you hit enemies. Sometimes they would also spawn right next to you and you'd get hit immediately. And I wasnt sure what the goal was either, since it didnt seem to be surviving or killing a certain number of enemies, and whenever I died I just respawned. But overall, really nice job here!

Great narrative!

I really dig the art, unfortunately less the gameplay. It was really tough to land some hits without taking some, with took away some fun, but I'm glad you introduced fast respawns - makes the game quicker and crunchier ;)

I really liked the use of the theme to explain the change in the controls. Very clever and original!

I really liked the way the story is presented! Would be cool if there was more narrative parts to go with tha stat changes.

Neat idea! Love how the storyline change the course of the game, really clever, and fits the theme perfectly, congratulations!

Such an original framing for a game. I really enjoyed that part of this game! very clever!

The idea for this game is SO CUTE and SO CLEVER, I love it!!!

Very cool man. I like the art a lot, and the game controlled pretty well. Very nice.

Now this was pretty cool! Loved the art and the dialogue cutaways at the beginning were cool, I actually wish they continued throughout - maybe it could be developed into a deeper fourth wall breaking narrative thing along the lines of something like The Stanley Parable. The core gameplay loop was a little repetitive but it was cool to see how the ever changing stats force you to think on your feet.

Awesome game! I loved the art style!

Nice job! :)

I like the concept, wut it would be nice if you could do more with it though. Maby add a changing enviroment? or chatter from the kids without pauzing the game...

I was able to hit snakes across the trunk and the hitbox were a bit unforgiving, but the game is fun so gg!

Hey ... who was in control of story? The Snakes? cult of snakes arise!

I really appreciated the story and artstyle! I was not sure if the snake spawns were infinite or if I always died too quickly.

Really cool framing concept and great art. Would love the see the mechanics expanded and a full story built out.

Nice concept and great visuals. Did feel like the attack was very short range and was slow to perform, other than that a great game!

I love the idea! Nice art but the game feel is a bit off.

Great idea having the kids change your stats in between. I loved how the game would cut to dialogues between the kids and the rabbit's stats would change. The art as well is very good. My only complaint is that your attacks could feel a little clunky. Overrall though, it's a really good game :)

Love the narration aspect. Great design too. Awesome job!

Nice game! Good pixel art, decent gameplay. I especially love the banter between the two narrators. With some tighter gameplay and some expansion, this would be a neat game! Good job!
