How does your game fit the theme?
We created a tower defense game where you don't have control of your own towers. Meaning they'll attack everything in sight... even YOU! Turning a classic game genre into a bullet hell.

I loved the game! Nice Job!!
Loved the concept as it fixes one of the main complaints of the tower defence genre, that being that theres not a lot to do during the waves. This allows the player to remain engaged at all times which really increases the fun factor for me.
Loved the art and audio design, it fit incredibly well with the kind of game you wanted to make.
The only drawbackto this is that while its a very fun and polished game, I don't really see it fitting the theme too well. But as a game, I think you did a great job.
Pretty fun concept! I love the idea of building my own bullet hell. It could use some balance changes. I feel the first turret is too strong for the price, and the barricade block might be too weak. Nothing that a bit of playtesting couldn't fix though, and the idea is amazing. Good work!
That's genius!
Tower defense and bullet hell work so well together I'm surprised I haven't seen a game like this before. Everything in the game is excellent.
One really nitpicky detail is that I feel like the music is really good, but it doesn't fit the game at all. It's all technological and brass hits and random vocal clips, “system malfunction”... The feeling it invokes is of something computer-y and futuristic, which isn't the feel I got from playing, it feels like the music wasn't made for this game.
This is really minor though and doesn't affect the score I gave you at all, just something I wanted to note.
Really went in blindly, so I got surprise when I notice that the tower was attacking me. Going for collateral damage in this theme is a good way to respect it. I don't think I have any serious criticism outside that you played it relatively safe, but yeah you circumvent the problem with the health collectible. Although, I would of like something a bit more dynamic to protect myself from the bullet, like a temporary shield.
Overall everything was polish, no bug to report on the HTML5 version, art was looking good and the music fit. Good job !
Really awesome concept. I just feel like regenerating health would be a better fit for the player character. Especially considering the lock-on tower. That one caught me off guard and obliterated all my health faster than you can say 21.
One of the best entries I've seen this jam. Absolutely brilliant mash up of genres, and the execution is phenomenal. Congratulations!
This was fun to play on the stream
It's nice that you stream these games! I've seen you in the comments of a lot of games
This is a really cool idea to get something else out of towerdefense. And it really gets out of control really quick. Especially the fact you have to get up close to collect pickups was a great way to enforce the need to get right into the bullets! I had lots of fun :)
Cheers, Laura
This is such a good idea. Such a fresh take on the tower defense genre, and fits the theme perfectly. Great job!
This is the most fun I've had with a tower defense game, like ever. It's absolutely brilliant!
Everything is 5 STAR! Great and fun-to-play concept!

I just pushing back enemies!😅
Great game, very nice ideas to renew the concept of TD. You did a great job, I loved how the hero can block the enemies and how you have to find a balance between hiding and taking risk to grab metal en hearts. Congratulation for this very fine piece of fun.
One of the best games I've played for this jam! I really like Tōhō Project so this one's an instant win for me :D
It's original. It's polished. It's stable. It's fun.
This is a perfect jam game. There's nothing else to say.
Simply brilliant ! Checks all the boxes : Original concept that fits the theme , great graphics and extremely fun.
I really liked it, it's a very different and fun, dynamic tower defense game! I will be following, I hope you continue the development! Really cool!
Never a tower turn against me before!
A super cool twist on tower defense and bullet hell! As the comments below stated, there are so many things done right.
Trying to add something aside from those comments here. **Nitpick alert!
My optimization brain told me to aim for tower predictfulness, which leads to picking aim + barricades (to my surprise the barricades do have health lol) and finally switched to spamming quads leaving only a safe spot near the track.
My thought is that the tower defense aspect is well done, however the bullet hell part could use for some working. I think it is indeed a great challenge to do so! Since bullet hell requires player to move a lot, while the enemies in a TD tends to follow a set track. As a result, player would try to go back to the picking spot but the bullets may not allow so. There's a contradiction here, a double edged sword that may induce interesting gameplays or disruption of flow.
Maybe that's why i opted for the strategy to remove one part of the contradiction to allow for the ease of the main TD game.
I really hope that your team can expand this to a full game!
The bullets get "out of control" very quickly, which highly limits the maneuvers player can do, maybe each type of turrets can shoot in consecutive turns, and in small bursts, which can be more forgiving in bullet hell gameplay, and encourages players to place different kinds of turrets instead of optimmizing for a single one.
Sorry for the long post, but i'm very impressed by the potential of this game.
