How does your game fit the theme?
Since time immemorial, the game controller has been the method through which players interact with their games. This game aims to fit the theme "Out of Control" by taking the controls out of the players physical hands and thrusting it into the game screen. Control the little astronaut around the controller to contol your ship.

Cool idea, I'd love to see it expanded upon, maybe the astronaut could take an object and drop it, or damage to the ship puts obstacles on the controller.
Thank you! and indeed, I've been getting some great suggestions and am wondering the viability of expanding upon the game.
Very difficult but also very fun and creative, I like it
This is a very cool concept, I love it !
Really nice job for a 48h game jam :)
this was so cool - having to control the char to control the rocket
nice job!
Very cool. This game could be a great local multiplayer!
I can taste the minimalism right off the screen !
very good!
Screen is small. Game is fun. Fish in a barrel aliens are dumb. Gameplay is repetitive(just stay near the target, wait for it to shot, and then move in and shoot back - thats the entire game). Level 4 destruction audio is loud.
I like the concept for you idea, but wish that the meta control mechanic added some interesting decisions to make. As is, it feels more like an obstruction to gameplay rather than an enhancement. Visuals were nice, great
Way trickier than it looks like.
Very simple but effective idea.
The idea is great! The pace is a bit too slow for me but overall the game feels good and looks good.
I would appreciate it if you'll have time to check out my game.
Loved the style! I would have liked a little more fluidity for moving the astronaut just to add some kineticism to juxtapose the limited mobility of the ship, or vice versa.
Great game! I would say it was a bit frustrating to walk from the movement controls to the shooting, maybe the shooting control could've been in the middle of the movement controls? Also, not knowing the time for game over was slightly confusing. You could put a bar or something to indicate how long the player has left .
Basically when the fuel tank next to your controller has a single red bar, you don't have much time left at all. Also thanks for trying it out!
Hello, as a sort of manual solution if the game is too small on your monitor ctrl+mouse wheel up should resize the entire game page including the game. Thanks for the feedback as always!
Really neat concept, screen was a bit too small for me but I really enjoyed playing it. I did wish I could walk faster but I suppose I might have too much control then :P
Neat concept. Agree with the screen size comments.
Love it, kinda reminds me of Regular Human Basketball or Lover in a Dangerous Space Time.
Nice concept. Cool execution. I would have liked if the screen was a bit bigger.
Good Job :)
Those both look like great games. So I'm glad you think so ^ u ^
Very original twist on the classic space invaders. Love the presentation. Only feedback I have is that its often unclear why the game is over. Other than that, great work!
I found a game that is almost identical to yours!!! Check it out!

I'd say it had the same initial concept in mind. But that other game went in another completely unique and cool way.
The game is great, the theme was especially good, it felt like you really were an astronaut controlling the ship which most space shooters don't really allow you to achieve. It felt kind of bad when I suddenly ran out of fuel near the end of the level without being hit, maybe a danger symbol with a countdown could show on your screen when you're about to run out of fuel. I only managed to get to level 3 but more buttons would be fun when you get used to the layout, although difficult to use at first. Overall, great game and I hope you keep working on it :)
I love this! It's great that you took an ordinary game genre and added a new but very interesting control scheme. I wonder what other games could be controlled like this?
