This is a really good idea to fit the jam, and the art is really nice. I think there was just too many enemies too quickly
Honestly, this game is a shoot to move when low health and a top down shooter when high health. Besides that it is polished, juicy, and fun as hell.
By far the best implementation of this idea I've seen in the jam!

Really well polished and fun! The game felt really good to play and I liked the nice variety of enemies. You managed to make a game that fitted the theme without making it frustrating or annoying. I can't think of much to improve the game really, the game is self explanatory as shown by the very creative character sprite and the music and sound effects worked really well. Amazing job!
Nice game, found it a bit hard to coordinate at times. But overall, good job - that was a nice challenge !

Wow awesome game, so polished! The difficulty was just right so that I kept at it until I won, and the combination of the classic "shoot to move" concept being applied with the loss of controls was great.
Dang this game gets hard quickly! it's one of the better spins on the "losing controls as you get damaged" concept I've seen so far, being able to shoot to push yourself and try and gather lost controls was a nice touch.
You've put together a really clean package here, very nicely polished.
Very fun gameplay! The art is really nice. I especially love the bouncey UI and spawning animations. The movement is a little awkward, but that's part of the game's uniqueness.

You did really well dude! The difficulty is balanced. All of my usual quips about jam games aren't present here. Just a solid game overall
