How does your game fit the theme?
You play as the titular "Hamma", a construction robot tasked with destroying out of control robots on a construction site. We also leaned into the theme with the control method... you'll see! Oh, and please play the Windows download version - it's way better!

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

We used pre-existing audio

This was sooo satisfying to play, flinging yourself around the arenas was great fun!

And I loved the music, reminded me of God Hand on the PS2, which I now want to play again...

Anyway, really good stuff, nice work!

Super juicy and I love the steamroller dudes!

We had a similar idea in 2D, but you're a man in a constantly-spinning office chair, using a hammer to propel yourself

Crazy cool concept. Insane amount of polish. I love the sound the hammer makes when it is being charged up. Also kudos for having such a simple, yet effective control scheme. One of the best games of the jam.

Wow! Fun game, great concept, that's just perfect for a 48h jam.
I loved it!

It's so much fun to blast though a bunch of enemies at once and bounce around the arena like a pinball! Unfortunately my PC doesn't run the game all that well, but I still loved it.

Did you try the download version? It performs a lot better than the browser version!

Thanks for playing anyway :)

good one! this is what happens when pinball game is on steroid.

Great art, it is a really nice style. The bricks were a cool analogue destruction and showed off the roller enemies. Nice job.

Funny concept. I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thanks for playing and keep doing what you're doing. It's a real help for developers :)

Awesome, gameplay is interesting and it is overall very polished, good job!

Graphics and music is great, i mean,  top quality.

Gameplay suits the theme but i feel like can explore a bit more into how to generate more combos, as i easily get at least an A and on some levels an SS without trying too hard.

Bumpers are very nice and add chaos into the game though.

um... maybe add some score text popping out of defeated enemies is great? coz the game is essentially stun+score game, so letting players know how the score come to be is a great thing.

Still, need to give credits to the beautifully crafted 3D models. Props to you people!

You gotta be out of control to be in control! Just the perfect amount of being out of control with all the pinball bouncers and slidy movement! super fun game excellent art! release a full version!

Submitted(+3)

Wow, I didn't thought there could a perfect game for this jam, but you nailed it. The concept is original AND really fun. It was easy to understand from the get go without tutorial. The art is polish. SFX and Music are well implemented. Didn't encounter any bug and run well in HTML 5.

Overall, great job !

The art style was great! The game really did feel out of control with the frantic movement caused by the bounciness of the hammer. I think the simple control was great since once you got used to it, you can pull off nice combo kills.

The web build is horrible but oh my, this is such a fantastic game! I'd like to see this expanded upon :D

Submitted(+3)

Very fun and juicy! Great assets. I love seeing good 3D games.  Well done

Developer(+1)

I also like seeing 3D games in game jams! Super happy we could create one in the time we had!

Thanks for playing!

This is a ton of fun! Loved lining up shots as I slid around the place like a mad man! My biggest gripe was with the telegraphing for the shooting enemies, it's pretty hard to catch when you're zipping around full speed - perhaps adding a flash would help?

Either way, great submission - I hope you keep working on it!

Fun to play, it’s kinda laggy for me, it’s like it’s running smoothly but the camera can’t quite keep up, it may be my trash pc tho.
There’s a bug where if I still kill the last enemy after dying I can still complete the level, there’s a lot of props in scene that gives a feeling of “destroying the map” but you can’t really do that which is a shame.

Developer(+1)

Out of interest did you play the web version or the download version? There are some bugs with the web version (like the one you mentioned) and the download version has significantly better performance.

Cool game, I really loved the art, really high-quality. The polish was really nice as well and there were some fun levels. My main point of feedback is that I struggled to see the tele-graphing on the ranged enemies. Overall it was a good game that I think deserves to be in the top 100.

Really cool! Love the models. My one gripe is no audio with the bricks but great job!

Developer(+1)

Yep! Audio was a pretty late addition unfortunately. I think I did the charge sound effect 10 minutes before we locked the build 😅

Really cool game! Very polished and the controls felt really tight.
