Really fun game and it definitely fitted the theme lol. I do kind of wish things were a bit less out of control since the strategy seemed to be just run round the screen and spam left click which wasn't particularly interesting. I would have liked it more if you could stop things getting out of control since with about 3 storms and 3 dogs attacking the screen at once, there was no way to stop the insanity. I would have also liked it if the sheeps looked more scared than demonic, since they did look quite strange. However, it did allow you to tell them apart easily, so maybe just a more subtle red? However, overall the game was very enjoyable to play and it felt really well polished, great job!
This game is suuuper fun and charming, I love the upgrades, I love the presentation, I love the approach to the theme, it was very overwhelming which made it very exciting. It really had that good mid-ground between too simple and too complex, perfect for game jams and something I struggled with. You did such a great job on this game, I really enjoyed it. Very amazing job!
This game was hilarious! I loved it, it was so much fun! I really liked the upgrades between levels, gave it some nice replayability. The fact it's based on a true story made it even more funny. The game controls nicely, and the sheep becoming out of control is a really good challenge. Loved the sound design, the different pitches of baaahs really helped giving a chaotic feeling. The art is really cute. Great job!
I really liked the difficulty curve for the game, especially with the incremental addition of upgrades. The pixel art was great, and the game fit the theme well. Overall a really good job!
This game is great! It's my best one for this game jam so far. Well done!
Great work on getting power ups in. It adds replayability in that the player will want to play again to see what the other effects do. Very charming art. And excellent concept.
I really liked the lightning strikes sending the sheep into panic.
There were times when i felt it was a bit unfair to have sheep in panic off screen. That may be intentional to add to the mayhem. But it would be interesting to see you experiment with either pulling the camera back so the whole field is visible at all times. Or some sort of minimap so you can see panic that's happening off screen.
Wow, this game is bonkers. Added to my BestOfGMTKGameJam list.
Amazing game! The upgrade system was fun and the game itself fits the theme very well. Highly rated!
This game looks so good and great concept :) I loved it !
The sounds are really great. Really good presentation. I liked it. Funny idea
Really fun game :D i love the idea and how you managed to pull it off so good !! well done
BAAAH! It's great! Had a lof of fun playing it! Great job on the art and the game!
BAAAH
This was a really cute and well executed idea. I really liked the art style (certainly more cohesive than mine, which used preexisting art from various packs). If I had to say one issue I had with it, it's that in the later levels it's either you're keeping any sheep from panicking, or you're just running around and barking in a futile effort in the hopes the timer ends soon. It felt like I had little control of the results of the round. Maybe that's the point with the theme?
Now we just need to settle the important question: 🐑 or 🐰?

This is a really fun game! I enjoyed the ease of learning and the general chaos, and it fit the jam theme very well. The mechanics work well together, and the sound adds a lot to the experience. Some of the things I thought could use some improvement are that the map never gets bigger or different, and I wish that there were more than two enemies. Those are features that are hard to implement in the limited window of a jam, but they would be interesting to add if you ever decide to return to the project. Overall, this was a really fun game!
First of all, the art is amazing! And the soundtrack and sound effects are really great too!
The gameplay is not really my cup of tea, sadly. It's definitely interesting and fits the theme. I also like that you get uprgrades and can choose which upgrade you want.
However I find it always only stressfull if you have to keep an eye on an area that you can't see completely.
So you run around and while you are solving things at one playe things go bad (baaahd) at another. So either you concentrate on on problem at a time and fix those properly but then you neglected all the other problems and things go south quickly or you try to solve all problems at the same time and only do them sloppy which has even worse results.
This this game is technically sound, has great presentation and is incredibly polished. I, personally, am not a huge fan of the gameplay. Which isn't a problem with how the gameplay is implemented but rather the core idea itself, sorry.
Thanks for playing! Your point is totally fair. We went hard into the theme of this jam, potentially to the detriment of more memorable gameplay mechanics
So polished, so fun, so good! There are even power-ups, good lord. I love the dog animation too, he's a gooboy I'm sure!
The theme is very applicable! Things got CRAZY! I enjoyed the tons of unique power ups. The art and audio fits well together and was executed perfectly!
Well... A short description for the power ups whould be nice... I mean, why the hell would i want small sheeps that are probably fast and hard to hit when i can get big & slow sheep that are easy to group together???
Other than that, the game was really fun, at first i asked myself "where is the out of control part?? these sheep are pretty managable!!", then the thunderstorm arrived, and then was too late...
Thanks for playing! Surprisingly our dev team got further with small sheep than the big sheep ;) The big sheep have bigger collision boxes making it hard for you to bark at all of them simultaneously
Glad you enjoyed :)
To be fair, i only got one time to that point, so i didn't actually tried the small sheep...
but i think you get it what'iv been trying to say...😐I thought sheetdogs had an easy life, if this game is any indication I feel sorry for those poor dogs!
Never thought I would have fun running around barking at sheep to chase them out of thunderstorms but apparantly I did.
Really fun to play and gets insane really quickly in a fun way.
Loved it! The increasing barks and the shadow dog feature was nice! I couldn't get ahead of stage 3. Awesome game!
