The game is visually very pleasing, however, I'm afraid that the game is way too hard. I wasn't able to survive for more than 5 seconds and that was me doing my very best.

Nice game, but really hard. Also, it's a bit annoying that you can't switch while the ninja is in the air.

funny, but hard to watch out on two layers. I gave up after the 3rd try
Fun, but a bit too hard. I was having trouble keeping track of what was happening on both sides at the same time, and it felt a little annoying and unreliable/unresponsive that I couldn't switch to the samurai mid-jump, as it felt the game was arbitrarily missing inputs and getting me killed until i realized.
Still, the idea is great and once you get the hang of it, very fun.

Cool mechanics, very difficult gameplay, should make the hazards appear less at the beginning so the player can get used to the control, great job overall!

THE GOOD (what i liked, and what stood out for me):
the art style was great. lovely sfx and a well thought out idea! I like the swapping mechanic, and the game opens for some interesting challenge. I firmly believe that this game would make for and excellent mobile project.
THE BAD (what i disliked, the bugs, and other problems):
There was a bit of a delay with button presses, so you can't get very precise with the movement. this is especially important for a game like this. The gun guys are wayy wayy too op, especially next to each other, so improving the actual randomness would be a good idea, check out gmtk's video on it!
THE HARSH (stuff that would just make the game better, usually just personal opinion, don't take it too heavily :D ):
add some game juice to enemy deaths, make the actions for killing or getting points impactful for the player.
OVERALL triple 4. nice!

Really cool concept, somehow i feel like this could work very well as a rythm game. It is pretty hard, and having the controls this close to each other makes it even harder, maybe go for space - ability and z - swap? Controls aside, I really liked the mechanic and the sprites. Good job!

This is a lot of fun to play! It can be quite difficulty, especially when you encounter an enemy with a gun. The controls are intuitive and the mechanics can be picked up quickly. Good job! I love the aesthetics too :D
First of all, the art & animations are great.
I could handle most things, at least until the gun comes out. It just again proves that, guns are the best weapon. I reckon that a smoother difficulty curve might be worthwhile - only spawning one obstacle per track first, then adding on to that with the enemy variety and more obstacles and speed.
Contrast is also pretty low - it was difficult to discern obstacles from the background, making it a bit harder.
A little bit of tweaking would do this game justice!

Controls are really tight. I appreciate the speed of the animations in keeping with the hardcore pace of the game. This is a very specific type of game, with a specific niche, but there's definitely an audience for this kind of thing. I don't necessarily agree with the comments saying to make it easier, but this definitely isn't, nor should it be, as mass crowd pleaser type of game. Could definitely use some in-game tutorialization to at least introduce you to which characters can deal with which obstacles though.
With these kinds of games though, I think presentation is a huge part of what makes or breaks them. It's important to be able to get players into a trance-like flow state, and the art and music will play a huge part in that if you keep iterating on this project.

Game has a really brutal difficulty curve but is quite fun to deal with once you get used to it as long as it sticks to the roadblocks and the regular sword enemies in sync. Anything beyond that and my poor hands just get decimated. I can't react fast enough haha. Definitely could've used some more smoothing out in terms of difficulty!
Also I'm not sure if this is accurate or not but I feel like there is a very minute lag in swapping chars right after performing an action. When enemies are tightly packed together this can be a very deadly occurrence.

Cool game mechanic but it's too fast to decide the action properly.
I just look at one side of screen and prey that guy with the gun don't spawn lol.
May be start slower (and faster as the time go?) will make the game more playable.

It's a nice game with great pixel art. The idea is also cool but the game is currently very, very hard. You can barely live for 10 seconds. If you tune down the difficulty, your game deserve a 5 star fun. Also the ninja kinda blend in with the background, so I think making it white would be a better choice.
Overall, it's a nice game
