Tricky and fun platformer! This really redefines the paradygm of sacrificing Yoshi.
I loved doing the chained jumps and using each of the character's abilities to get the first cube to the end. The animations are also super cute. :)
I would love to see more done with this, maybe having the player switch which cube they control more (I didn't have to do that at all to beat the game, yet it was a fully implemented mechanic)!
Definitely different from the other puzzle games I've seen throughout the jam. The title is a nice little twist of "a helping hand" which is kinda funny. It's got some simplistic but interesting puzzles that mix it up a bit with a few mechanics that you can try and mess with.
The main thing I'd say though is that it got a little boring with how many levels were just the same 3 after they were all introduced. Rather than say, different combos of them etc. Maybe changing placement of them to make it so you have to reach somewhere to use them? Stuff like that.
This is my first ever puzzle game, and making hard and challenging puzzles is not really my jam, but I will sure try to get better
This was a fun platformer. I liked the mechanic of having to shoot the main character off from the other one. I found the controls a bit awkward because I'm left handed though. Good job!!
I liked it it would have been better if there were some levels where orange would carry black to higher platforms where black could carry white(I know time-constraints) would love to see more of it great work!
10/10, Would dunk my friends in lava again!
Good game. It has got all that I like in a game.
Very charming game, i like the look and feel of it, a bit too easy though but good work overall! :)
It's a really cool yet simple concept and the execution is really good. I like the transitions, sounds and the levels are fairly simple yet show the entire concept very well. Good job!
Only the textures could have been improved a bit.
Really fun game only issue was that going on the back sometimes bugs out and causes my character to not go on the back but somewhere else. But other than that fun concept and idea that could definitely be expanded to a full game if more levels and characters were added.
I really like the idea of this but I wish the levels were more challenging :D
This game is really fun! I like the sfx and the scene transition! But the levels might be too easy though...
Original game! Good work!
This was really fun and the presentation was pretty nice. I loved the whole thing, amazing job!
Very cute. Had a glitch on the first level with both of them which caused collision to despawn when I dismounted black but else its very polished and a pretty complete experience. Only game jam game so far I’ve played to the end.
Well made game in only 48 hours. The graphic is pretty cute and the level are interesting designed. I also think its nice that you introduced the mechanics step by step so I didnt get confused at all.
Nice idea and well executed! Adding some more mechanic variations and increasing difficulty would go a long way.
So heartbreaking, making me leave orange dude behind! I didn't want him to die! Really fun little platformer, and I loved the presentation overall!
Good idea lacking difficulty to the levels and if there was a reason to ever not be ontop of someone else would be nice.
It's hard to think of a hard level
Very good game, the orange guy dies alot
Like Dani once said: orange juice bad, milk good
very nice looking game, mechanics are simple but are quite enjoyable. clicking with the mouse felt a little redundant, maybe an interact button would have worked better? either way good job!
also, side note: at one point the developer log showed up with some errors, nothing game-breaking but it did give me a little chuckle :)
You know what they said: Don't fix a bug if it doesn't affect the game
