Good work considering the limited time. The balance is not great, but that's understandable. I think it would be substantially improved if the enemies died in one hit rather than two.
That's actually a good Idea, I also think the feedback on the shots could be improved. Thanks for playing!
Cool idea and great art, but give the player more health and also make the keys more convenient, like use WASD to move, space to switch and F to shoot or something. I hope the feedback helped you, would be nice if you could check out my submission too. :)
I believe from now on I will always make customizable controls for my game. Thank you for playing!
Considering this was made in 15 hours, the result is nothing short of *insane*. The controls are a bit wonky, especially the choice of keys for character swap and fire, and the slowdown when switching to the red character was maybe a bit excessive. Overall it was quite fun, though. A shame it couldn't be a bit longer before turning into an endless endgame loop. :D
I know, if I had more time I would have made 1/2 more levels and enemies, and maybe a boss battle too
Thanks for playing!
Nice concept and it works all right. It was clunky for me. Maybe because I have a german keyboard and z/y are swapped.
Oh no! I never thought about that.
I'm learning a lot about controls accessibility in this jam. I think from now on I will have customizable controls for all my games :D
Thanks for playing!
has potential
I smiled so big when I saw this mechanic! Very clever and perfectly fits the theme! I wish there were more levels to play! Great work!
I'm happy you liked it! First thing I will do after the jam is a transition animation!
This is so so impressive considering you made it alone in just a day!! I really wish you had even more time, because the potencial is super high! I dig how the duo looks and find the transition from a standard level (which I didn't even realise was just a great tutorial!) to a high-score room very smart :). Well done!
Thank you very much, I think the look of the main characters is a big part of this game, and I'm very happy I managed to do something cute considering how bad I am at drawing.
Thanks for playing!
The endless room is quite boring. My guess is that you didn't have the time to design more levels. That being said, the concept is great and has lots of potential.
indeed i could only work on it saturday (about 15 h). The survival room was a quick fix to make a functional level in 1 h or so.
Thank you for playing!
Very smooth, great art!
Nice game and fun concept great job :)
Great concept!
The tutorial false was really nice, the game itself is great too. Maybe a little more time working on the IA and balancing would made the diference, but 48h is a crushing time tho.
Congrats!
Thanks for the kind words. It was actually only 15 hours for me ^__^"
I wanted to put in 1-2 more enemy types but didn't have the time
This was a good game.
Then the endless mode thing started.
The platformer part was good thou.
i know, the endless part was a placeholder. I wanted to do a couple more enemies and maybe a boss battle but could only work on this for 15 hours. Thanks for playing :D
Its a fun game & very creative concept. Cant wait for the improvements & added contents more down the line if you decide to continue this! Good work! :)
Thank you, I guess it would be fun to expand on the concept!
Great concept and a really polished look to the game. I enjoyed it a lot!
The in game tutorial is really cleverly implemented, rather than just a wall of text as in most game jam games.
Thank you, I tried to make it language-agnostic and that's what it came to be :)
Dude, this is great. I hadn't found a way to cheese it -- it was really difficult. I'm not sure what it's missing, but maybe a little bit of variety in the enemy movements.
If I had more time I would have put at least one-two more enemy types to mix it up. Glad you enjoyed it :)
hard to play and nice music ^^
Thank you! Hope it was just hard and not frustrating!
Cool idea! Really like the art and music. The way you introduce the controls is cool too!
Glad you liked it :D
