This was a really nice puzzle/platformer.  I think the puzzles were pretty good just right for being able to be solved and executed.  I would second the recommendation for a shorter death animation.  When I die I want to get right back to playing immediately so that I can correct my mistake.

Thanks for feedback!

Great game, neat puzzle design. the game can result hard and frustrating sometimes, for this type of games I always recommend a shorter death animation.

Developer

I assume your talking about the 6th level where you most jump through the spikes, yeah the spike hitbox was too big.

I thought i was playing a puzzle platformer. what i was actually playing was a love story. lol great game. loved the tears animation you added, made me feel bad when i messed up the level.

I thought it was a puzzle platformer too...

Loved the game, simple but effective. The hitboxes on the spikes were a little bigger than they should be, and the "level X" text broke a lot, but these are all minor things that can be fixed with a little polish.

Honestly a great game, wish it was longer.

Great work. Hitboxes on the spikes were a bit large but great simple concept and fun to play.

The level design was the big star on this one. I can only imagine the testing behind the scenes.  From what I read in the comments, people are really having fun with your game. Way to go Icy!

Really impressed! So many neat levels, cute characters, fun music, and multiplayer too! Wild to think that this was your first jam! Congrats and I hope to see more!

A really fun game. Love the design of the characters! And being able to play on the main many is an EXCELLENT touch. Great job!

Love these kind of games! There were some excellent levels here, and the art was adorable. Great work IcyPigs.

You can play in the title screen :D

Feedback: Have a reset key.

I liked how one of the solutions was just to not move one of them! (I realized after dying multiple times.)

This was really nice! I played with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed it!

I'd make the collision boxes on spikes a bit smaller, but other than that, good job!

That was super cute, well done! By the way, pressing F didn't make the game fullscreen for me, but it didn't really matter, cause I was so into that absolute bop of a soundtrack!!!

Congrats on your first game jam game!

I played this together with my friend that I submitted my game together with.
Pretty fun, we enjoyed it.

In some of the later levels there were parts that we could skip completely. Keys and unlocked doors etc. Not sure if intentional or not. I also think we could unlock a door with a key from a previous level?

Developer

Yes sadly I left a bug in where I forgot to get rid of all your keys upon death or upon completing a level.

you did an amazing job for your first game jam! very fun to play. i really liked the concept and how you interpreted the theme. And all those littel details like one characater crying when the other one died, they make this a really nice game to experience. Well done!

and I did not encounter any bugs ;)

Congratulations on the project, as feedback I can say that the controls are kind of locked and it's very frustrating when a character just dies, but anyway, good job!
