Was a little confusing to start with but i like the idea! looks pretty good and the physics are easy to play with

How does your game fit the theme?
Use tongue as a grappling hook! Every block is joined together after a fruit hit it.

This is the perfect example of how a really simple mechanic can make for a stupid fun game!
(F)licking around, jamming to the music, dodging fruit. Life is good!
One thing I'd suggest is to have some kind of indicator on the range of the tongue.
Congrats on a really addictive game!
Super fun toy sounds like about the right description.
My god, I hate how simple this looks yet still funky and amazing. It's a silly little premise, and darting around with your tongue is a lot of fun. The physics are wonky, but it fits the gameplay. Very fun!
Swinging around with your tongue is a really unique concept. But it took a lot of time to figure out the controls. Otherwise it is a really cool and fun game. Good job.
This was soooooo trippy! I liked a lot how the physics work, def love the music. If there's a point where it could def improve would be in the feedback on when and where you can attach yourself to swing and some bounds to the level arena. Great entry overall! Good job!
This game was a lot of fun. I think my best two times were both in the seventies, and they felt absolutely amazing. The swing mechanic was great, the use of the theme was inspired and definitely one of the most unique ones of the jam. I did have an issue where sometimes I'd try to click on a shape and be unable to send out my tongue, I'm not sure if it was because I was out of range or if it just wasn't registering. Besides that, I had great swinging around and would absolutely love to see more of this game in any capacity, if that's something you're considering. Good job!
I really like the central mechanic here, it is well implemented and the controls feel nice. I would love some on-screen UI elements to make it clear if I am pointed at something that I can latch on to - I'm thinking some sort of cross-hair, have 1 state for nothing latchable, 1 for latchable but not in range, and 1 for latchable and in range.
For a simple proof of concept, I had a lot of fun just swinging around.
Hahaha pretty cool game, I first tried staying alive just by chilling on a block but that didn't get me far. My next run I just use my tongue and I got to say the fun level just went up! swinging from block to block like spiderman hahaha! Could probably even make it into a puzzle survivor game, maybe there's a door above that you have to use your tongue to get to, and perhaps some blocks wouldn't fall and you wouldn't be able to go higher so you'll have to use your tongue to toss the fruit to it .. or something like that >_<" hahaha, anyways, well done!
edit: Oh forgotten 1 thing, adding just a simple instruction on the controls would be good too especially in a game jam where there's so many other games with different controls.
Nice, first game on the jam that I saw using tongue as the core mechanic. The thematic has potential! The tongue can be used either to do the swinging movements, to get items and to make the character stick to a wall! I think that there are interesting design choices that can be added
Slingshot/swinging mechanics will never not be fun :) I'm not quite sure what exactly the fruit are for, though. Do they just cause the platforms to fall? I've only hit a fruit once myself, during my record run of ~175s of being alive. So they don't seem to pose much of a threat to the player at least. The very close camera and/or low field of view made things a little disorienting at times.
Such a simple and colorful game! It’s a lot of fun to swing around with your tongue as the world falls apart. :-D
What I would recommend is adding a score system. And maybe some collectibles, like coins, that give you some bonuses or extra score.
I think you failed to mention the grappling hook mechanik on the jam submission, it is really fun.
Could have used an indicator showing where you'd attach too.
its super fun to Spiderman around in this game, I just wish there was a high score system or something, good job tho!
Took a minute to figure out how the controls worked and what you were supposed to do, probably should have read the instructions. Just swinging around in 3d like that is a lot of fun though.
