Such a sweet game! Looks and sounds great. I like the detail that you put different colors on the arrows, it was easier for me to remember the color sometimes and the shape sometimes, well done :)

Such a cute premise! Puts a whole new spin on the typical arrow memorization games.

I agree with cdrch that a gentler difficulty curve would be great. Maybe the early levels could be slower, and with less arrows. Start with one, then two and work the way up!! Also it might be nice if failing a combination would result in the same combination repeating, that would also make the game feel more focused and strategy driven! :)

Oh also, I think enabling full screen would fix the issue with the arrows not working, because what happened with me is that the arrows would control the page scroll instead of the game. You should be able to enable full screen on the game's page in edit mode!

Hopefully that helps you! Congratulations on creating this adorable game in 48 hours!

Wonderful retheming of what basically seems to be Simon Says. It would be nice for there to be a more gentle difficulty curve and settings for those of us who are not quite so strong with our short-term memory. Would be extremely interested in seeing longer-term effects based on date results (which may exist - I couldn't get very far in!).

Absolutely adorable art and fun gameplay! I loved all the colors used. I noticed the keypress bug. This is actually Game Maker’s HTML5 bug that’s been there for quite some time. As a fellow Game Maker 2 developer, I can recommend you to use this workaround next time - it is simple and it works, I used it in my game as well. :)

Dude I was immediately obsessed! This was a ton of fun in it's simplicity and high-score chasing from a simple mechanic. One thing I might suggest is to add a slightly different note chip sound to each arrow instead of the same one everytime the guy says an arrow- might help out with colorblind audiences, since when it got fast, I was relying solely on my color memory. Otherwise, loved it!

This is my best score so far

could use more of a learning curve, start slower and get fast otherwise very polished and nice!

This game lacks a difficulty curve : it's extremely hard right from the beginning.

And the way it respects the theme is a bit far-fetched. I liked the pixel art though

Cute game that fits the theme nicely! My score is 275. ;-)

In love with the art on this game! I feel like you could've pushed more into the theme, but the gameplay is generally fun - if not a bit difficult. Excited to see future works

Beautiful art and aesthetic! The characters in particular are very well drawn. My favorite part though is the theme, that having a successful relationship has so much to do with listening, and this tiny game somehow conveys just how hard that can be sometimes!

My feedback is that strictly as a game, it is very small and simple, and (surprisingly) very hard from the beginning. I'd add a difficulty curve, making maybe some of the first sequences easier (less symbols, more time to look, etc). Also, as a reward to the diligent, actual dialog in between "waves" would be interesting and add to the flavor of the game.

Hahahaha poor guy, i didn't even managed to remember one whole sequence! I had lots of fun anyway.

Btw my submission is like the sequel for this game if you don't manage to understand the poor guy XD.

The color coordination on the symbols are a big help! This guy talks fast!
