A fun little game! I really enjoyed playing this. Maybe make bigger gaps between the moving barriers, but the character sprites looked very funny.
Good game!
Haha funny concept :D Good work!
Simple, but cute. Could use some other obstacles or a win-state.
Will do. Thanks for playing. :)
There isn't much to it, but it's pretty fun. I played it with my friend and we had some joy out of it, really good job!
Thanks so much!
Sorry for the late rate!! I can see myself having fun with a friends over this game, but sadly i'm a lonely boy... TwT
Haha, I'm sorry you didn't have anyone to play with at that time. Thanks for checking out my game either way! :)
First, it's a jam, you must make the game playable by one person. That being sayed, Looks nice and move well, with a good music. It need some variety to force player react to potential unfavorable terrain, etc... Though well done
Well, not really a must, there isn't really a rule against making a 2 players game (at least as far as i know), and even it it were, i'd be applied only for this jam specifically, and not for all jams. Even said that, making a one player game is usually preferred, since not many jammers have friends to play it with, and thus having a one player game is more accessible for them... I just wanted to clarify that
Ps. Good feedback tho :3
I agree this is not mandatory but highly expected.
Well, there's no rule that says you have to make a single player game. I joined the jam late and had to finish early because I had other things I needed to do so I didn't have time to experiment with coding some sort of AI, something that I have never done before. I recognize a lot of people won't be able to play because they don't have a second person. If you can't play thank you for trying at least and thank you for the feedback! :)
I really like the art style! Nice work!
Thank you!
I really like the art style! I do feel like it's too easy to reach a stalemate though so maybe adding something like different obstacles or different movements would make things a bit more interesting. Great job on completing the game though!
It sounds like a lot of people are having that issue. I believe the only way to get a stalemate would be if both players decide to push against eachother and not move otherwise. If someone is doing that to you you could potentially lure them into the spikes by swinging them around using the gravity between you instead of directly pushing them into the walls. Of course a lot of people might not think of that! Thanks for the feedback anyway and thanks so much for playing my game! :)
As feedback I would suggest to add some kind of component to the game as a pickable power up or something to make it more dynamic. Otherwise it is really hard to beat you oponentn since both of you are pressing against each other. But it was fun to play. Nice job ^^
That's definitely not a bad idea. I made the game super simple so I knew that I could finish on time but I might have gone a little too simplistic. Thanks for playing!
The pulling effect was interesting, but it would have been better if the strenght of the pull and push varied somehow, otherwise you get stuck in the middle forever. Nevertheless, good job.
Oh weird I never had that problem. Of course there wasn't too much time for playtesting. Thanks for the feedback though and thank you for playing my game!
Interesting game! I lived the gravity mechanic. If you wanted to improve, sort of simple AI to play against would be nice.
Thanks! I knew as soon as I started making the game it would be much better with some simple AI just so people who didn't have anyone to play with could play but I figured I wouldn't have enough time.
Cool idea, and good execution. Well done!
Thank you so much!
I didn't realize it was competitive. I thought it was easy love...
Nope haha
