How does your game fit the theme?
The player is tied to the entrance by a thread. They have a limited number of steps they can take away from the entrance, and if the thread is cut by a minotaur they lose.

It is a really nice game, I enjoyed the puzzles and the simple way they were introduced. It worked out great and made it easy to follow the rules of the game, also the theme with minotaurs and labirynth is very cool! However, for the life of me I couldn't figure out that puzzle with two minotaurs and four braziers, it is really possible my brain just was bent on one idea and I just couldn't see the solution. Amazing puzzles nevertheless. Nice job! :d

Thank you! I have seen a lot of people have trouble with that one, I probably should have introduced the idea of luring the minotaur away and then dodging them in some earlier level with a simpler setup. Thanks for playing!

There were very clear instruction, which made it easy to play.

Atmospheric, somewhat creepy and fun game. Interesting concept and well executed game.

Very good!

I liked the idea of minotaurs marching next to the torches :)

The gameplay is very solid and well designed, and leads to a lot of interesting puzzles! Liked the pixel art too, well done

It is a very fun game. The puzzles are great! The Theseus story and the game mechanics work well with the jam theme. Although the music is simple, it adds to the labyrinth atmosphere. The two characters somehow remind me of Hades lol. Overall, I like it a lot!

Thank you! First time I had ever made my own music for a game, one day I will learn to use more than 6 notes.

Great job on the gameplay and aesthetics of this submission. A little more juice would've gone a long ways here. Everything just felt so static and that's a shame cause the graphics are excellent. Cheers!

Neat concept and design! Was a bit confusing to figure out how close the minotaurs had to be to detect you but I had fun overall!

Very fun! Wish there was music though.

Developer

Thank you! It actually does have music, or did you mean you wish it had something more substantial? Admittedly the "music" is just like 8 notes on repeat.

Really cool! I was working on a minotaur game also (not for this jam), so that’s a positive vote from me :)

Too bad there’s no message when you reach the end, it just restarts.

But really great for a jam game!

Developer

Thank you! I'm a fan of any minotaur based game, I'll have to check yours out! Message at the end would've been nice, thanks for the feedback!

Good puzzle design. Reminds me of snake-based puzzle games I've seen in the past. I wish the minotaur range was more visibly apparent.

Developer

Thanks! That's a good suggestion. I tried to add some with lighting at the last minute but it just turned the minotaur into the surface of the sun unfortunately.
