Nice idea but it was hard to understand what was going on in the fight. Maybe you could build in a risk reward thing where the stronger the robot, the bigger the reward which would get players to choose the strongest bot to build (once they realise they're playing against the bot). Rewards could be better abilities and you get no rewards if you lose the fight which would allow players to balance as they progress.

I was making sure to create the perfect badass robot and I ended up fighting it! :O

Anyway, the visual are really nice and I understood the gameplay right away.
I guess you did not have time to polish it enough so that's usual in a jam (I've been there).

Good job for your submission!

Even if it's just a little bit, try to give feedback in response to the player's actions. When they attack shake the enemy and move the player forward just a bit. When you take dmg shake the screen and flash the player character red or something. The more responsive a game is the better it feels usually.

At first, I was a bit confused. I read it quickly, so I didn't realize that I was building the boss and not my own character!

The first part of the game was really smooth, but I didn't know what I was doing for the boss battle. In the end, I was spamming randomly WASD, until I win the fight.

Overall, I think you had a good idea, but maybe not enough time to do it!

Still, it's a good try, good job :)

I liked the idea and the art is amazing. With more battle animations this could be a really fun game.

I like how you incorporated the theme! Like yea, let's create a battle robo from spare parts! Cool art design, and mechanic, but I agree with the other comments in that some feedback on the button presses would have been really helpful. Something visual, or some audio implementation. Nonetheless, cheers and congrats to your team on the successful submission - It's all around a solid premise.

Cool concept, but I missed the music and sound effects! Good job!

I like the concept of creating your own enemy before fighting it but it is a bit rough.

I built a full purple robot with box gloves and it was not there when I fight it, just the plain grey robot. The base idea is good but with more work you can make it really interesting: boss battle drop you new pieces, you gain more points on more difficult pieces and each character has an animation (or at least like the first pokemon games, just attack animation) it will help a lot new players.

I have no idea what is going on. animations would have helped

Interesting idea but the game needs more feedback as to what's going on. No idea whose turn it is unless you watch the health bars to see what's moved and not certain what the different attacks do. Neat concept, just needs a bit more work.

The idea is really cool and I liked being able to customize my opponent before the match. I think the game needs animation and a more refined gameplay loop.

Intresting but a bit boring

It's super original the idea. But I think it is not good implemented. I don't know how to play well, and why there are 3 attacks. It's confused
