We are glad you liked our game, thanks a lot!

I agree, asking the player to install and run a local server on this computer seems a bit odd for a game jam project. I think you can achieve it with cookie in a pretty simple way but I understand that learning all of that plus making a game is a bit too much to handle for a game jam ;)

It works pretty well actually, I was at first pretty surprised by the concept and how it will works. But I think with a little "developer magic" this prototype can really be an interesting project.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! We originally planned to implement different characters with abilities but ended up throwing away because of the time limit.

Very good mechanics with some interesting challenge!

I love the fast that is impossible to just brute force the challenge and you have to plan ahead your moves. Great work!

For a first non-prototype it is a great start. It feels a bit odd to gather an element without any clues, because I found myself multiple times asking if I already take something or not (for example a little sound based on the resource gathered)

You can also use some UI with transparency to display already taken pieces. Overall this is really original. By sure to flesh it out if you continues to work on it!

Amazing mechanic! I wasn't able to finish even one level though. I was feeling ants were either too few to create a bridge or something else, I think I am missing the point (I tried every level).

But overall this is a great piece of work!

A really interesting mechanics! Love sounds and graphics!

The game is pretty interesting but it really needs to be flesh out. Some other levels would be very appreciated. But otherwise the game got good ideas.

The concept is really interesting and the animations are pretty cute! The game is near impossible due to the spawn rate but I really like the idea!

Some tweaks in balancing could really help your game but overall it is a great game.

Really challenging for the last levels but pretty simple in gameplay. I do not really know what they are doing in the cracked soil or even why I need to guide them here.

Thanks for your feedback! Glad you like it!

We are glad that you liked our game! Thanks a lot for playing it!

You're welcome :)

I don't think this is a main problem for a quick game of around 1 or 2 minutes, but if you get stuck or if you are lost (I get stuck in a corner for like 20-30 seconds and a lot of engines were placed all around my ship, which make it pretty frustrating to move around) the framerate can drop.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Yeah, I agree with you, we try to put a longer introduction but it does not really fits our theme. and we were short on schedule.

Glad you like the game :)

Amazing work on the graphics! The idea is quite simple but ends up working pretty well, a bit sad the game is not available on the jam page, we can't really know if you are continuing to work on it.

Very cool idea, a bit rough on the edges for the physics (I end up glitched on the side of the ground multiple times) but it is really interesting and fun!

Like other in the comments, I wasn't able to finish even the first level. As I can see you developed on Unity, I think with a few tweaks with RigidBody (gravity and forces) you can achieve something way more interesting.

Also, when you change control it is frustrating to press again spacebar. What I mean by that is, it will be better and less frustrating to hold spacebar and change command based on your inputs. Neat concept and don't remember to test with care your game, even if you are not good with testing, ask your friends to do it or just play it for a few minutes.

I do not play any SpaceShip or space related games that's why I am a bit confused about it but I totally understand your point of view. It is interesting to see it in action!

Mechanic and graphics are at the top, the ladybug could use a light buff in speed but it is already really fun to play!

The aesthetic is stunning for a Game Jam game! Well done on this part! Graphics are simple but they are well done.

I love how the physics work on the core, it feels so great.

Great idea, It remembers me of playing Cat Got Your Tongue challenge on Binding of Isaac.

I think with a few more types of enemy or some power ups, the game can be significantly more fun. Also the lack of objects or anything like that make the maze hard to navigate.

Really solid (worst joke so far) game! Mechanics are great and I spent a very good time finishing the game. The character is responsive and feels good to control, a pleasure.

The sound can be a little more bit refined but otherwise it is a very good job!

I like the idea, but the controls are just to tedious to be really enjoyable. I think controlling the spaceship rotation with the mouse would be SO much more fun and I think with that in mind I will blow asteroids for hours.

I think instead of a outline maybe draw a square or a geometric form that loses one side each time or a color for each health type.

You're welcome!

I will not repeat what others comments already point out but trying to figure what is what is really hard and pretty frustrating because you do not try because you think this is the good combination by guessing you just brute force the problem. I am sure that they were plenty of combination but it is too frustrating for now.

Overall the book is the best sarcastic character I ever seen in a jam, great job with it :)

Really clever game! I spent more than 15 minutes on it and each game was like: "I felt so smart", until I run into one random block and ends up locked at a score of 2 (my personal best)

Very good job!

Puzzles and idea are very clever! I really love this mechanic!

With a few more screens and maybe other puzzles it will be way more challenging!

Hope you will continue to develop this(ese) game(s), the idea is stunning.

Maybe using a shared save instead of codes (you have to do it instead of checking a walk through) would be interesting.

I just retry and yes I was missing something :)
The final animation (no spoil) is really nice! Good job on this project!

The pixel art aesthetic reminds me of Pixel Piracy and Magicite pretty neat.

Very nice game with cute animation and characters (their idle animation is really pretty)! Music is very good too and fits well this theme of little aliens in space.

I would love to see some bugs fixed (when swapping gravity I stuck in the wall before having to go down) and an ability to restart only the level in progress and not the whole game, otherwise, best game so far!

Really cool concept, it is however really laggy or frustrating when you spend more than 2-3 minutes in the game, maybe clear elements or reuse them to reduce the load could be helpful.

Very cool game! The music is really nice and fit well the theme. Levels require a brain to complete without the ability to brute force them.

My only real frustration is the need of a "Restart" key on the keyboard.

Overall, great job!

Pretty interesting concept! More visuals clue of what is happening would be very much appreciated. I am stuck in the level with 2 squares yellow and one of them is invincible, I think it's because it has a bigger outline but I am not certain :/

The swap mechanic is good but needs refinement, I am not able to see exactly what squares will be destroyed on each swap and sometimes you ended up brute forcing the way by swapping mindlessly.

Oh, I didn't think of that, I will retry it after my pause, I probably misunderstand something. Also, love the "mossy" aspect of the future!

Thanks for the clarification ;)

It's hard to understand what's going on at first (the double effect for cards and in which order actions take place) but the game is really well done. Battles are fun and you really needs to use your brain!

Clever!

As a side note, animation and graphics are cut but in my opinion, a "skip animation" or something could help, especially the last battle that tends to be longer)

Clever use of the past + Future connection. Animations are adorable (when he / she, don't know carry a box). Puzzles are really great and works well.

I found myself locked on level 4 (I didn't know I can pass through the pipe) and on level 5 (the character is too tall to sneak in the "cave" of the level.

Overall great game with good music and really good graphics!

The art is really well done, music too. The game can be a bit frustrating (I was killed one shot even with 5 lives) and sometimes you do not really understand what is going on with the timer and how you lost lives.

Overall the game is pretty fun with insane graphics!

Pretty clean game with great mechanics. The game is simple but complete, well done!

I like the concept of creating your own enemy before fighting it but it is a bit rough.

I built a full purple robot with box gloves and it was not there when I fight it, just the plain grey robot. The base idea is good but with more work you can make it really interesting: boss battle drop you new pieces, you gain more points on more difficult pieces and each character has an animation (or at least like the first pokemon games, just attack animation) it will help a lot new players.

I really like more creative games with bolder moves and this one is very relaxing. I really like the visual and the music, they are simple, but they do the trick.

Physic colliders are a bit crude (it kills the pace a little, at the end of 2 minutes for example) maybe using smaller colliders even if sprites are a bit overlaping will make fishs more fluid.

I would love to see other types of fish and maybe an adaptative audio based on how many and what type of fish is following you, would be great!
