A complicated but cool game! It took some time but I managed to complete it. You had a nice idea in inserting some achievements!

super cool idea. game is too hard, offence feels lackluster. cool blackhole effect!

Nice take on the theme. Would love to see the control rely more on the weight of the towing ship rather than the towed gun as it can feel "unwieldy" at times. Could also be shifted to a level scheme like Asteroids since the rotation + thrust control combination feels better suited to an arena-like level as opposed to a side scroller.

I love this - well made, nice graphics and awesome concept. While the ship was hard to control I enjoyed the challenge! Good job dude.

This game is very charming and looks very polished! also the music and sfx was spot-on and i loved the tutorial and presentation. The controls were a nightmare. Surely it's a bit by design, but having the ship move on Tank controls rather than 8-directions really messed with my brain :P great game tho

Awesome presentation! The black hole effect is insane! Great to see another fellow of the towing idea AND used Godot aswell xD

Nice concept and gameplay was very fun.

Would be nice to see some progress towards earth - now it came as a surprise that I got to earth safely (which was fine)

Controlling the towing-ship was a bit rough, but guess that's part of the charm

Love how you could shield your client and have your client shoot a bit - to make it not completely useless.

Great submission!

Thank you :)
Adding a progress indicator is a great idea, thanks for the suggestion :)

Really enjoyable idea!
The lack of control gives it a great charm. And I really liked the blackhole aesthetic.

Good job!

this game looks good !

I enjoyed it !

Very cool game! It's a super interesting concept :). I dig the pixel art and found the upgrades really juicy! The ship is a quite hard to maneuver and even though that's the point, I think a bit more control would make the game feel more fair. Other than that, great job :)!

Yeah we had some issues with the physics. We couldn't get the ship with the bad engine to turn like it should, theoretically the rope should apply torque to it.

During play I had the impression that the towed ship was too heavy, it messed up a lot of the movement

Developer

We actually deliberately increased it's weight, maybe we could slightly lower it, if we decide to make an update later on.

I like this game! Great gameplay! Good job!

Please check my game as well ;)

Neat idea, but difficult to control as others have mentioned. Solid stuff either way.

Ilikehowthe ship goes "UGH" with a human voice when it's hit xD

Cool concept, but the controls make it a challenge to play.

really nice assets, the controls are super hard though, and I got my ship stuck between an asteroid and the map border lol

Developer

Yeah, the controls are definitely on the hard side. We would've liked to improve them, but didn't have enough time to do that.
The physics act kind of strange and we aren't quite sure why.

Very cool. Are there more levels? Because I can't get past the first one.
Also it looks great.

Developer(+1)

Thank you :)
There is only one level that leads to a fun little ending.
