How does your game fit the theme?
My game is a puzzle platformer with separate blocks in each level that you have to join together to create structures and access new areas.

Damn, that little puzzle in the main menu actually took me one minute to solve, and later I found out that I should just click the letters in the title...
This is a very unique and brilliant idea! The ability for players to edit the level layout means that this game is not just a platformer but in fact, a combination of 2 genres of games. And this creates so many possibilities. Nice work! I love the music by the way. The levels are all pretty well-made. Really a fantastic work for 48 hours!
Thank you so much!
I like the concept. overall fun
Interesting mechanic! I got stumped by the level with the two red blocks and blue-grey platform!
I liked the 'industrial' tone of the music (the heavy beats), very fitting to the game!
Thank you! I'm glad I nailed the music; I was afraid it would sound too dissonant for a puzzle game.
Great job with the game! I love the puzzle mechanics and the resulting platformer challenges, really good take on the theme. A lot of fun to play, great job!
Having a sound effect when you place blocks is a really good idea! I'll try to add that in the update. Thank you for playing!
I just finished playing your team's game after a lot of head-scratching. The level design was brilliant! The entire mechanic felt like manipulating a Rubik's cube, which I really enjoyed. Hats off to you for designing the levels!
I have never seen a game with this mechanic executed so well! All the levels were interesting puzzles and challenging platformers at the same time. Great job!
Thanks so much!
Lol, the main menu low end got me (even tho I understood that I need to move the letters, I thought that I need to press and not drag them). The idea fits every theme and it's quite fun to mess around with the boxes, but the presentation is on the lower side (mostly fonts and colors, which is not that critical for a jam entry). Good job on this one and good fortune with future projects!
Thanks for the feedback! As for any solo project in so little time, it's difficult to balance presentation and gameplay. I tried my best to make the game as polished as I could, but for future games I'll focus on using better-looking fonts and a nicer color scheme.
Great puzzle game with an interesting mechanic! The sound effects are a bit harsh on the ears.
Thank you for playing! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like the sound effects. I used Bfxr to make them, which tends to produce harsh sounds, so editing them to make them quieter is something I need to work on for future games.
Great work. The last level was a bit tricky but I liked it.
What a fun puzzle game. Difficulty raised a little to fast for me tho, congrats on making this on your own!
A fun puzzle game. Got a bit challenging towards the end.
Thank you! I tried to add a fair difficulty curve to this game, but I think the final level (level 5) is noticeably more difficult than the other levels. I hope you still had fun, though.
Nice game. Could fit the theme if the blocks actually join together instead of just falling on top of each other.
I agree that it would've fit the theme a little more that way, and I was considering having the blocks snap in place, but that would take too long to implement under 48 hours. Thanks for playing!
Super nice game and a great concept! I must say, my favorite part was the beginning with the PLAY button. Really nice touch :)
Thanks! My last game jam game had a creative title screen, so I wanted to have some gimmick at the beginning for this game as well. The idea of using the title letters to form "PLAY" came to me immediately, and I thought it was a fitting touch for a game about putting things together. If it weren't for that, I probably would've called the game something else (maybe "Building Blocks" or something of that nature) so I wouldn't have had to have at least an L, A, and Y in the title.
Very nice! I might uh *ahem* borrow that idea for future games of mine ;)
Very cool game, although I am not sure it reaches the join together theme. Outside of that a very fun game
I can see what you're saying; my idea was that because you are constructing the level through the blocks, you have structures "joined together," but it is a loose interpretation. Thanks for playing, though!
Very great game!!!!
