I think this is my new favourite game! As a huge tetris fan this was awesome! With a bit of development this could be a really interesting full release! Hope you work on it further.
Thank you so much! It means a lot to me that you enjoy it :)
I love those games where you pick a game that already exists and give it a twist !
Thank you!
It has an interesting point to it, and it certainly is entertaining for a while. It clearly still has some design flaws to be addressed, mainly the fact that you can get unclosed chains of blocks that are impossible to get rid of, it can be quite unforgiving and when you encounter a situation like that you can start to lose the motivation to keep going.
Thanks for playing and feedback! There certainly are design flaws I intend to take a closer look at after the Jam.
I love the concept, and the execution is great (besides the stuck blocks issue mentioned in other comments). I struggle with standard tetris so this was quite a challenge; But it’s a good challenge!
Thank you!
Pretty addicting, nicely done
Thank you!
Really cool idea! Had lots of fun with this classic with a twist.
Thank you! Glad you had fun with it :)
very interesting idea, I'm quite surprised I've not seen this before... so simple it seems inevitable (congrats!) Seems like the "forever stuck blocks" problem is the only prickly part.
Thank you! I'll look for a proper way to fix the problem after the Jam, let me know if you have any ideas.
You should totally expand this! It's like tetris, but better (and harder) I could spend SOME (some = a lot) of time on this
Thank you! I will definitely flesh out the game after the Jam.
Great take on a Tetris game. I'm definitely going to play it again.
Thank you!
I liked it, it's just not my type of game. I like Tetris, but with these pipes, it gets a bit difficult.
Thanks for playing! Yeah it's admittedly difficult so I understand where you're coming from.
Really liked it, since I also did a version of Tetris for this Jam - I was curious how someone else could approach this classic Game.
Nice work.
Ooh another Tetris like game, I'll check it out when I can. Thanks for the kind words!
Fun game! Like the strong GB feel. I would have liked the side walls to count as a pipe ending though.
Thank you! Interesting idea you have there, that'll certain make the game a bit more forgiving. I'll think about it.
Pretty neat idea! Good fun!
Thank you!
Ok I love tetris and this is amazing! First five stars I've given on originality and very well deserved!
Thank you! It means a lot to me :)
Great game :D
The idea is great and well-executed, it fun to play and the Tetris-like gameplay makes it easy to instantly understand. Only critique would be that it's really hard, but maybe I'm just bad lol
Thank you! I must admit the game's difficult for me as well even though I made it...
Awesome idea! Definitely my favorite game so far! I love how strategic you have to be compared to normal tetris. If you don't do any planning you get royally screwed! After a few attempts I was able to get a score of 185 which I felt quite proud of :P
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. That score is pretty impressive actually, I haven't been able to reach it myself.
It's a lot of fun and I keep playing over and over again. It just sucks how easily you can soft lock yourself.
Thank you! I had a few ideas to make stuck blocks less punishing but wasn't able to implement them in time.
I love the retro art style, it reminds me of a better tetris
Thank you!
Great art style and simple idea well executed!
Thank you!
Love the art style
Thank you!
