Fantastic artwork. It's what shines brightest here, clearly a lot of effort was put into it. Movement feels snappy, dialogue is a nice touch.

You maked a better Overcooked in 48 hours! Amazing!

Very fun gameplay packed full of satisfying sounds and neat artwork.

the gameplay was enjoyable but could have done with a little more challenge. and i think that there were more ways to incorporate the theme into the actual gameplay. overall; very good job!!

Wow,  this is so good for 48 hours. The art is amazing also the animations and the gameplay are really juicy and fun! Good job on this one Vimlark :) Getting 3rd place like in brackeys game jam maybe :)

Fantastic presentation, and mechanically it feels like it could be the start of a blend of Battle Chef Brigade and Overcooked.

I would have loved to see the food "fight back", which would take the resource management mechanics to a new level.

That having been said, I do think that the theme is a pretty loose fit. Minor tweaks could have made a big difference to bring it more inline with the theme (and add some mechanical depth to boot!)

 - Maybe the "food monsters" gets angry and aggressive as Velma gets angry

 - Maybe the food needs complex combinations to create recipes beyond heating/freezing/microwaving

- Make stunning is an optional mechanic rather than a mandatory one.. the food monsters actually DO escape and join together with the other food monsters so that you can't rely on the monsters being in the correct hallway each time.

I think you've got a great kernel of a game. Thanks for sharing.

Gameplay is super polished and things get hectic super fast.  Theme of the jam seems to get bit lost under the mechanics.

What a cute game! I was a little confused at first, but once I understood that there were two pantries and I had to stun everything in it to leave I had a fun time! I would love to know more about the characters you made quite the interesting world! Great job!

Nice game.

1, I don't think the theme is interpreted to well. You can just have the hunger meter as a standalone.

2, There is a glitch where if two enemies overlap. Then You collect both but only one appears in a bubble.

3, There is a similar glitch where you can collect two food items and if you feed Velma those two food items. If there is even one Item that is not on the order list. She will get angry, even if you have a item on that list.

Besides those, I think It can be a nice party game someday.

Also, I would be very happy if you would play my game.

The game is slightly confusing, but really fun! The idea is really creative, and the graphics are incredible! Nice job Vimlark!

this took me awhile to get what i was suppose to do,  even though you laid out very detail intructions i was still lost, normal mode felt like hard mode. but once i got the hang of what i was suppose to do the game picked up and it got really fun!

also i did not know the hallway was there! i kept saying where do i get these meats!? this is due to the fact that the hallway kinda blends in with the scene whereas the fringe looks very flashy, thus distracting me into going into that room first, and assuming this was the only place to hunt for food ( i felt like this was just a me thing lol)

once i discovered the hallway i shouted OOOOH lol  then i enjoyed the game. overall very very fun game!

Really good Graphics.

takes a little while to get used to it but when you do the game is fun :)

Really nice graphics! The idea is pretty similiar to Overcooked, but still a bit different. But I think the game is a bit too hard in normal mode for a game jam :). Anyway great job!

Would be cool if you play and rate my game too :D.

I love it. It's a lot of fun to learn the recipes and to get faster and faster in fulfilling the orders.

Amazing art and cute animations! Fun to play and fast paced. I did have one small problem where the meat was stuck following me and I couldn't get rid of it. Still a blast to play, with unmatched polish!

Strong Overcooked vibes and super fun to play. And the art is FAN-TAST-IC. Great work as always!

this is pretty fun! I did find a couple bugs, where if you stand next to a cauldron and run along them it highlights all of them, and if you don't do anything on endless mode the death screen never plays, and you just stop moving. (this doesn't happen on normal or hard however).  other than that, this is an interesting take on the theme, and is well made.  I also really like the art, and control system.

Developer

Sorry for the bugs. The endless one is really disappointing. Sorry about that and thanks for playing!
