How does your game fit the theme?
The difficulty of controlling the character is joined to how many brain cells you collect. As you collect more, the character becomes much bouncier.

really cool game and the art was really good as well! Cool take on the endless runner game and I really enjoyed it!

Interesting idea! I also agree with the comments below that it felt like the switching didn't pull my character down as fast as I expected it to, resulting in me hitting spikes I don't think I should've hit.

It would also be interesting to see the brain grow bigger when they take on more brain cells (maybe this already happens but I'm so bad at the game I didn't see it lol). That would create a wrinkle with a risk/reward factor and make this a bit less generic in its gameplay. I just feel like it needs a little something to jazz it up, you know?

Thanks for playing!

Originally the brain was meant to grow (and actually did at one point!) however it started acting very buggy so I decided to remove it as I only had a few hours left :( Some way to increase the risk/reward sounds like a great idea though.

As for the gravity, it is intended to be fairly difficult to control (you can switch mid air once before you must touch the ground to get a bit more distance), but I may update it after the jam ends to make it fell a bit snappier.

Thanks for the feedback, it's very helpful!

Cute game and an interesting fast faced gameplay. I think it may have been a bit better if the reversal of gravity was a bit 'snappier' as sometimes it felt like the floatiness was very hard to control, but once you get used to that it was good. Good job on your submission! :)

Cool Idea, and the brain guy is cute.

Good idea, even if some of the hitboxes felt a bit unfair.

A cool unique game! First of its kind that I have seen.

A fun, out of the box, take on this years theme. The game is simple and fun, I liked it a lot. You could expand the idea into a full platformer. Like qwop meets ms. splosion man XD

Fun casual game. I had only one complaint - 'When I first played the game I thought I need to go between the pillar since the top and bottom of them where same color as spikes.' If you think the same then try make them look like they are in the background

I got 1661 points. It's a combination of VVVVV and that helicopter flash game.

This is a fun game with a decent concept but I'm not sure that it really fits the theme that well.

A fun concept (I have a whole 86 brain cells apparently), the camera jitter does make the game painful to play after a while but if that was fixed and the difficulty mechanic expanded apon, I could see this turning into a great game.

Gravity flipping mechanic is cool, the difficult movement on progression could be expanded upon.

An autorunner game where your bounciness is based on your health, and the one pickup in the game increases your health. Kind of a stretch on the theme, but decently fun. It did hurt my eyes after playing for a bit because of the framerate
