I realy like the game! my only problem with the game is that it feels luck based and then you are blamed to not play well. else to that this awsome!
Thanks a lot! :D I definitely agree with that one, the curve could've used some tweaks, but I was too lazy with a day left. :P
Very polished game! It took me a while to understand how to make coffee but once you do, it feels rewarding! great job
The sound effect of making coffee helps that feeling a lot haha. Glad you've still understood the concept, thank you for playing! :D
Really love your color palette! Nice friendly game!
Much appreciated! :D
Really addictive, especially with the sound effects and shakes giving the player feedback. Great take on the 2048 genre of games! A bit rng dependent though as the game relies on water so much and the theme connection is a bit rough. Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun playing this!
I'm glad you enjoyed the game, thank you! :D The difficulty curve does depend more on the randomness rather than skill, and yeah, I guess "joined" and "mixed" are far from each other in some context haha. >:D
Quite a good game, i like the sound effects, and the inspiration from 2048 is clear, but it isn't the same which is positive. The interpretation of the theme is questionable, but a great game nonetheless
It was simply bean + creamer + sugar = coffee, and poof, "joined" together, haha. Thank you! :D
Loved the art style, though I think the gameplay was a little repetitive. Potentially making the grid bigger and taking field effects from games like Candy crush or Pokemon Cafe Mix might make it more interesting, though it is already quite difficult. Anyways, great work
Thank you! It does lack some variation, another idea of mine was to make the size of the grid and the score multiplier to be interconnected, so that's another plus for the game's difficulty. I'll note that suggestion! :D
Neat game, I enjoyed the style and game loop! It did feel like a good amount of luck was involved once thing fill up, but great work for the 48hrs. I could see this as a fun mobile game, especially with the graphics reminding me of Gameboy.
Thank you so much! :D I do plan to create a mobile build of this, it'll be an interesting process.
Very fun. I do think some tweaking needs to happen on spawns so it's a bit more balanced, and maybe have HP trickle down slowly when moving so you constantly need water. Very clever
Ooo, sounds even more challenging, I'll take note of that. :D Thank you!
love it
Hi lods! haha, thank you :D
It's a fun 2048-like game. Maybe needs guaranteed water drops as i once got about 8 items on screen with no water, and there seems to be a bug because sometimes i can't seem to make coffee after collecting all ingredients. But overall it's really polished
Ah, from the tutorial, it is mentioned that you need a bit of HP in order to make coffee although it does lack feedback whether you have enough for coffee or not. Anyways, I'll keep the guaranteed waterdrops in mind as well, thank you! :D
Its hard to figure out what to do at first but once you get it its very fun. Overall good game
Thank you! It might be helpful to see the tutorial option at the main menu or the brief description of the game to understand its mechanics. :D
A quality entry. The polish is really good. I would like to see a higher drop of water and a tutorial to show how it works.
Will do, if I ever get to continue this even further. Thank you! :D
Very nice execution, art and polish, really started getting into it after abit! :) I felt it wasnt too complicated to get, overall really nice!
Thank you very much! :D
Found it difficult to understand at first, died a few times till I understood what I had to do, but I loved it! Very simple and very cute, and also challanging :)
Thanks so much! Seems like most players do have a hard time grasping the concept, I'll keep in mind that I should focus on tutorials too. :D
Enjoyed this one, simple concept which is easy to learn but difficult to master.
Thank you! It is pretty difficult, even I as the developer went through many fails to get a score like that haha :D
Really liked the game once i fully grasped the concept. Art is really good, though a tutorial would be really nice!
I did have an idea to make the tutorial into a visual one, only if I didn't procrastinate on day one, haha. Glad you enjoyed it :D
The art is great. It would be good to have a bit more of an idea of how to play the game, controls/tutorial would be good
Much appreciated! :D I really didn't have much time to focus more on the tutorial(although I realize it seems to also be one of its major flaws), so it's only available as a semi-text and visual option in the main menu.
Really nice art and concept.
Thank you so much! :D
Cute artstyle, my highscore was 1750 :D
Ps.
I was reading the description because i liked it :D
Wow, that's waaay far from mine! :0 Thank you for liking the artstyle(and the description >:D)
I really like the colour scheme and the art style for this game, amazing for only 13 hours
Thank you! :D It was a color palette I pulled from lospec that instantly looked like coffee to me >:D
