The character and the island are in Symbiosis. The island creates trees that creates seeds that the character give to the island in exchange for energy. One die, the other die too.

I love the concept and commend you for including controller option, but I did find it really hard to figure out. However, really well implemented, I think better explanation would help!
This is a neat and challenging game. A little more clarity on what everything did beyond the explanation at the beginning would have been nice. I like the concept and polish. Nice job.
This is a very risky game for a jam, bold move. I will be honest, I got a little lost, but I was able to understand. I think it's very polished and bugless. Good Entry.

The graphic looks pretty polished and there is some sound design so nice work.
The only thing is that it is pretty tough to reach day 60 and beat the game. My high score was around 50 or something but this also can present a challenge. My game was also very hard to balance in such a short time and it turned out to be a little to hard so I know how hard it is.
I really like the idea of other plants growing over time that you have to destroy to get more trees, because this adds a risk-reward system where you have to decide if you going to get energy or destroy some plants.
So all in all a very cool game.

Balancing the game was as hard as trying to find a good twist for the core gameplay. It still feels like it's missing something and it clearly lacks good overall control (so a bit too random) but it was (close) enough for this jam.
Tried and left a small review on your game too btw, like I said it was cool!
Sadly the island and I am not perfectly in sync, only made it to about day 25. Kept trying to pick weeds when I already pick up a ball
Sorry, I did think that maybe just walking on the weeds to remove them would have solved that issue.

I liked being a log and tending to the garden. I was only able to survive until day 30 on my second try!
