Super cool puzzle platformer and the idea of the frog ejecting its tongue is very funny :D

Love it! My only complaint is that the music doesn't loop. As a heads up there was a bug on level 2 (and maybe also 3?) where I started with more tongues than I was supposed. On 2 I started with 2 which was super fun (but when I died it reset and fixed itself). On 3 I also started with 2.

Thanks for the feedback. You are supposed to collect an item in lvl 2 that gives you one extra tongue and in lvl 3 you always start with 2. I know that there are still many bugs... we should do more playtesting next time

Even with the bugs, your game is awesome! This one and Threadbound are my two very fav. of the jam.

Wow, I just finished level 3, very interesting idea and clever level design, the art style and mood are nice too!

Fun and cute idea! Good color scheme, it made everything very readable and the frog stood out very well! Good job!

Very original idea! Cool game :)

Really cool game! Not sure why my frog's tongue was detachable and kept growing back though, haha. I thought the kitchen aesthetic was original and laughed at the spike pit being full of forks and knives instead of spears, haha. Very cute game!

Once you get used to mechanics this game is quite good. Right when I was thinking "you know this game would be a lot more interesting if you got a second tongue" I got one. That last puzzle was a clever misdirect as well. Well done!

Developer

I agree, the mechanics are weird but still thank you for your kind words :)

This is actually really fun! Well done! The fact the tongue can disconnect is a unique mechanic and its really good!

Developer

Glad you like it! Thank you very much :)

This is a super interesting idea! The tether-tongue is super fun to play with and the levels are well thought-out. I like the different elements you have, like the blocks that allow the tether to go through and the blocks you can't attach to. The art and animations are especially charming. Wasn't prepared for the frog to turn to goo on the spikes!

Developer

Aww thank you very much for your detailed comment! Glad our idea came through :)

Hey! Interesting take on the theme. The mechanic allows for different interesting puzzle sequences, which is great. Good job!
