I found the game was quite fun and peaceful. I could see this becoming much more addicting if there were more levels and more complex obstacles. I also think that some dealing music would go great with this game. Also, when a new level starts, it would be nice to have a hint on which boxes you are controlling. Great Work!
Fun game! Was a bit hard to get used to the controls.
Was it just me or was there no audio?
That's a winner to me! very clever puzzle game design, simplistic but efficient graphics. great job, I would play 10 other level of that!
It's fun, and I like the concept, but it's also pretty frustrating when you make a tiny mistake, and you have to start all over, especially because it's hard to tell where something is sometimes, Add an undo button, and this would be perfect though.
cool
A fun puzzle concept executed very nicely! Calming, pretty, and just the right level of hard in my opinion.
I always find it confusing / arbitrary which direction correspond to WASD in isometric games, so some sort of picture in the corner labeling them might be helpful
Super clean feeling game. Some minor bugs with render order and collisions on the locked cubes. Overall cool mechanics and puzzles. Great work.
Yea the render order was a bit tricky to get working right with some blocks, didn't realize how wrong it was with the locked blocks until after submitting, woops lol. Glad you enjoyed it.
Loved it! I saw you made the sounds during the jam, may I ask how? They work together perfectly.
I had no issue with the controls, except maybe tilting my head too much to the left :p the only "bug" I noticed was the locked cubes (red, yellow) rendering with a higher z-index than the other, leading to some confusing perspective. Overall a nice mechanic!
The sounds were a lot of fun to make, this was my first time making my own sounds for a game so I stuck to simple concepts. The "slide" was my flat hand sliding across my desk. The bump when hitting a wall was just a finger lightly tapping the desk. "Unlock" was literally me unlocking the deadbolt in my house (couldn't think of anything else that would get a more perfect sound). And the level win was a stainless steel thermos filled with some water and flicking the top.
Thanks so much for the feedback!
Really loved the last level as a sort of highlight of what might be possible in a full game. Especially loved that you ended up making a key shape while collecting keys to get more keys. Hah!
Others have mentioned, but maybe an on screen WASD legend indicating directions might help?
Good job! I really enjoyed the game. Except that as the number of "locks" blocks increases, the difficulty increases too much.
Nice puzzle! The unlock blocks seemed to hover sometimes so it was difficult to make out where exactly they were
Nice puzzle concept. However it seems that height of the block almost matches square size, that tricks eye into offset by one.
the controls are hard but its a very good game!
the controls are hard but its a very good game!
awesome!
aaa the perspective im sorry ;-;
It's amazing! I haven't finished it (got to the yellow key), but this game already deserves a very high rating. Great job!
fun game! Bit too mind-boggling for me, but I completed a few levels. Only problem I have is that the yellow key block doesn't actually stop the player. I think you may have forgotten to give it a collider
Oh wow I cant believe I missed that. Thanks for the the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!
Funny idea, but a bit frustrating controlls
This is really good! It's cool how similar our games are, but how we went in different directions with it! I have two main suggestions: 1. The controls were a little confusing to figure out at first, so I'd suggest adding a compass rose (but with WASD instead of NSEW) 2. It also took me a few second to figure out which square was mine (though it was easy to figure out after moving once or twice, so not a huge deal), either making the controllable cube a different color, or have a glowing outline around it would solve that, I think.
Really cool game, I love the isometric view, and the environmental puzzles, I'd love to see more!
That's a great idea for the compass rose, wish I had thought of that. I tried playing around with 2d lighting a bit to try and get that glow effect for the player cube but I couldn't get it to look right with how I wanted so I scrapped it because of time. Thanks so much for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!

Also, forgot to respond to this initially. No problem, I'm always happy to give feedback!
