Very nice, simple yet effective visuals, interesting puzzles.

Really fun platformer puzzle. It's an interesting concept, well executed, tight controls. I spent way too much time playing :D

Claiming world records on all level:

Developer(+1)

Damn, congrats on that level 7 time :D

I managed to do 2.11" once I realized the exploit :| but you beat several of my times :)

Really interesting game, I loved the puzzle design. I especially loved that there were optional collectables! I didn't go for them most of the time, but it's something that would definitely draw me back. I have no real negative feedback to think of. great job!

Really interesting and fun puzzle platformer! I really like the level design, it kept me playing and playing. The music is really cute and the controls very tight :D Awesome idea and execution!!!

Congratulations! I really liked the game.

This mechanic gives an opening for great puzzles!

I absolutely loved the puzzle design for getting some of the stars. Beating each individual level was fairly easy, but the placement of the stars was perfect to make you slow down and carefully consider your actions. Great job!

Nice level design! I liked how you really have to think about the positioning.

This is a great game that have been nicely polished. It must have been tricky to get the jump detection right. The tiles stands out from the background and the grid background allows me to effortlessly count the dimension needed to clear the game.

A small problem that I've encountered is that it's difficult to line up the player exactly on a one square wide box to get some stars.

Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Do you mean you had trouble "snapping" the boxes together? I'd love to know which levels, to see if that was intentional design or an oversight :)

On level 5, 6 and 9, there are stars inside a small box. I find it difficult to fit the player (before combining with anything) into the box. Is it intended for the star to only be reachable after getting a certain shape?

Developer(+1)

On level 5, that's a collision bug, the "easy" way to get the star is to land on the floor above it, then do left/right quickly to fall towards it

Level 6 is intended to be taken when you've reached your final form, and on level 9 you just have to jump up as soon as you spawn, but if you move around, it becomes very hard :p

I really enjoyed the fact that you have to think about the order you're going to collect the other pieces so that you can both complete the circuit and collect all the stars. The presentation is simple, but still effective, and there's an impressive number of levels, too!

Developer

Thank you! I intended for the levels to be relatively easy to solve, but hard to get all stars. I believe there's even some where you have to take a different path to get the speedrun :)

I wanted around 20 levels but ran out of time while making the animations, music and overall game more smooth, no regrets tho

I loved the level design of this game, it was very fun and challenging! I also really liked the melody, it was very catchy. Great work!

Developer

I'm surprised - and glad - that you liked the melody, it was whipped together in about an hour after I finished finding the sound effects ^^

Thanks for your feedback!

Having the stars was a very cool idea, and making it so the stars are not related to the speed run is very nice haha!

Submitted

Great level design! So many instances where I thought the level would be really easy only to block myself out of the finish with the weird shapes I would create.

Developer

Glad you liked it! Initially, I wanted to add some "achievements" for finishing a level with each of the possible shapes (5 shapes with 4 blocks, 12 shapes with 5 blocks) but didn't have time to design enljfb levels.

Nice to hear that the difficulty is balanced, after 48 hours it's hard to have a neutral point of view on it!

Fantastic work! So much sweet level design here!

Really loved the choice with the star challenges and the grid background, really helped and added to your gameplay!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Could you tell me how the grid background helped? I'm a bit confused about that part :)

Submitted(+1)

it would be my pleasure!

The grid background helped me visualise what type of block formation would be required to progress to the next level, by counting the squares on the grid next to the buttons.

If this was not done on purpose, it is even more amazing! Well done!

Developer(+1)

Well I was just using tiles for the art, and thought the lines would make it less bland than a flat surface. Glad to hear it has a purpose :)

Very well designed mechanic, I like it.

Very well made game.

All the art, sounds and music and Level design in 48h :O How ????

Very cool puzzle game !

Developer(+1)

Art was made using Aseprite, logo with Krita (using the Beon font), I'm quite used to designing art for tilemaps by now. Sound effects for stars and cubes were downloaded from freesound.org, level end was made with jsfxr. I used VCV Rack for the music loop, you can notice it's very similar to another game I made for a jam - I reused the file, changed the rythm and the notes :)

Overall I wish I had spent more time on the art, especially the main "character", oh well! glad you liked it :)

Haha you say it like it's "nothing" don't underestimate your work :D
