How does your game fit the theme?
From an ancient Japanese liquor that allows you to share dreams, to an everlasting magical glue that just wants to be addressed politely, HomeBrew lets you leaf through a wondrous recipe book full of potions and mixtures designed to bring people (and things!) closer together. Relax in your room while you listen to music, pet your cat and eat some chips! Although we didn't have time to implement the actual brewing mechanics, it is something we would love to be able to do in the future. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this chill little experience.

THE ART IS SO GOOD! I feel so impressed and I wish my art looked half as good and cute! It is so nice! Great sound design too! Let me know if the game gets finished!
Oh My! This art is what I had aspired to and you pull it off so well! If you can finish this game lease let us all know because I'd love you play more!!
I loved the descriptions of the different potions! They were so well put together and heartwarming. I really really want to see this finished past jam! Great work so far!
I'm very happy to hear that, thank you so much! We'll do our best to give you a finished product sometime in the near future, hopefully!
Can't wait to see how this one shakes out post-jam!
Thank you! :)
Ahh! I want this to be finished so bad, the text was so pleasant to read and the room is mwah, love it
Thank you so very much, it makes me really happy to see that people are enjoying the writing! ^^
Beautiful art and music. I really hope you get to finish this.
We will try our best! Thank you for playing :)
Wow. You put so much efforts and dedication into your game - that's really impressive! All these little illustration details, the well written texts, the lovely music - I like it all. You guys have earned a round of Clover Cider - Cheers!
We'll toast to your good health, and as soon as we're able to brew some we'll send a bottle your way! Thank you so much ^^
Thank you so much! I'm happy you seemed to enjoy our game ^^
Beautiful art, you should definitely finish the game!
Thank you! We are working on it :)
Nice work. I love the art! Its a shame you didnt' get the brewing in as you said but time is everyones constraint atm! hahaha
Yeah, thats the way it is with game jams :) Thank you for playing anyways!
Hope you're able to finish it!
Thank you, we'll do our very best! ^^
Hi, I really like your game! The art style is lovely. :D
Thank you! :D
The art is absolutely adorable, and I'm loving the concept! Saving this project to see the future gameplay.
Thank you so much! :)
I've got to give you points for the originality and presentation, as the concept and look is amazing. It's such a shame you weren't able to get to the actual gameplay. Hopefully you will continue this after the jam, because I'd love to see what sorts of potions I can make! Good job.
Thank you! I'm continuing with programming the game, it was actually quite close to getting done. Most of the gameplay was in there but I had a bug that I just couldn't figure out, thats the way it is during game jams I guess :) Hopefully you will be able to experience the full game quite soon.
I can't wait!!
I'm so sad you didn't get enough time to complete the actual gameplay, as it looks so cool! The cute aesthetics and hand drawn art are an easy 5/5, and the music is so chill and well made! Well done for submitting this even without gameplay, still a good time :)
When I realized I wouldn't be able to finish the brewing mechanic I decided to focus on getting the art, writing, sound and music in the game instead, to at least give the game the feeling we imagined. It sounds like the feeling made it through, thank you for playing and for the nice words :)
5 star presentation! It's sooo cute! I also appreciated that the guitar strum is on the same base key as the background music xD cool project to work on further!
Thank you! (': I'm very glad you liked it, and I'm happy you noticed the small musical detail! x)
Thank you so much ❤️ it makes me really happy to see that people love the art.
It has a great look and feel to it, I am really excited about how the game will turn out once it is finished!
Thank you! I will do my best to finish the programming so you can get the whole experience :)
I'd love to see the potion mechanic implemented, but I was still able to enjoy the nice isometric room art!
I'm going to do my best to make it happen! It was very close to get it in there, most of the mechanic was programmed but with a bug I couldn't locate and time running out I decided to focus on getting all of the art, writing, sound and music from my amazing teammates in the game instead. I'm happy you could still enjoy our game!
Since your game description indicates that you cannot actually play with the mechanic implied / follow the instructions the game gives you yet, I should have read it thoroughly before I tried to play XD As it was I got a little frustrated as none of my clicking, dragging, or random key-pressing would do anything. I might recommend stating it a little more like a disclaimer / more prominently on behalf of bumbling gamers like myself :D Best of luck with it in the future.
Thank you for being so sincere, and I'm sorry for the frustration :( we'd love to be able to finish the project eventually, and when we do I hope you can come back to it and enjoy it fully!
