Ok. So I accidentally skipped the tutorial, so I had a couple seconds of "What the heck am I doing?"
But then, it all came together. This is suprisingly intuitive. Takes irl knowledge and applies it to game. Realy cool.
Edit: Also, GODOT GO BRRRRRRR.
It doesn't matter if you tried the tutorial or not. The tutorial button crashed with the export, lol.
xD amazing.
Please rate my game
The game is cool (I liked experimenting and making the recipes), but the tutorial is crashing so it was more just trial & error.
Really neat. Fun little experimentation thing to play with for a bit. Tutorial's broken, but I enjoyed just kinda mixing stuff up anyway, to be honest. I was less into the 'game' and more into dragging around food things. Enjoyed it! Great theme interpretation.
The music is a bop and the game is entertaining, I wish the window was a little more bigger and a recipe book or something because asking you about the double burger without knowing the normal burger is pain
Sorry about the confusion, the tutorial crashed so recipes can be confusing without it. (You need bread and prime meat to make the burger btw)
I loved trying to figure out the recipes while jamming to the groovy music. There are indeed a few bugs. And due to how the recipes come up, there are some that you spend the entire time trying to figure out because you didn't learn the base versions - looking at you, "double burger".
The tutorial was supposed to teach you but the button crashed, sorry about that. (Its prime meat and bread btw ;) )
Very cool presentation! As others have mentioned 1. the tutorial button crashes the game and 2. the 'Retry' and 'Menu' buttons do not work. That said the pixel art and sound design are amazing! Just the main menu alone hooked me :)
For some reason, I just find this game really appealing :) I won't mention the tutorial button, but the regular game is pretty addicting!
Nice Game. Maybe could have used a bit more structure? I think the tutorial is broken. But a unique take on the theme.
Yeah, that seems to be an issue. Idk why, but the tutorial button just broke whilst exporting. Thanks for the feedback though!
Well done
This was really fun, though I the tutorial button crashed the game, so I had to figure out how to play on my own, and the restart button didn't work, so I had to Alt+F4 to retry. However, this annoyances show how the gameplay was engaging enough to keep me trying! Here's my best score:
Sorry about that. It seems to be an issue with godot, the buttons broke down whilst exporting, but thanks for playing. :)
Cool concept!
I love cooking and this game was really fun! It took a while to find the correct recipes, but it was exciting when it worked! The art was also very nice. Awesome job!
Cooking with a connection subtheme and enjoyable gameplay. Good job!
Nice game was pretty fun. It was quite intuitive to cook the recipes. Although it took a while to figure out how for example dough looks. All in all nice game!
It was interesting to play. Great idea and good mechanics! Good job!
Please check my game as well ;)
Art is quite nice. The game is fun and different from what I've seen so far. Overall well executed.
Very good! Didn't expect to see a cooking game during the jam, good execution. Pixel art is cute! Good job dude.
