You can tell lots of work went into this submission. Aiming was little off for me but not unbearable or anything. Great execution and creative take on the theme.
Thanks Josh! I think that maybe adding a small scope or aim assist might help.
Nice! Really cool concept you got here, hahaha I like you different level is different organs. The mechanic is simple enough to understand yet still fun to play. However, I'm not sure is it just on my computer but the aiming seems a bit bugged. It doesn't point to my cursor exactly, if I move slightly the barrel will rotate a lot more and beyond facing where my cursor's at. I'll enjoy playing your game even more if weren't for the cursor bug. Another suggestion, is since the map is an organ I suppose you could made it shape and coloured like one to further imply it. So, yeah well done, I can see potential in this game after more polishing! ^_^
Glad you like it Laksamana! Funny you mentioned the color coded organs, I had it setup through a scriptable object with a gradient, at the last minute I was concern that it would make the smaller white cells not visible. I will fix that.
Also, the aiming, that's interesting, need to test further if this is due to bad math (tan mouse position) or frames/realtime calculations.
The game mechanic is cool and I love the 3d you made !
Thanks Matteo! I enjoyed your game a lot.
Nice game and mechanics fit nicely the theme. Good job
Glad you liked it! I was concern about if it would fit the theme; happy to read it worked.
Hexagon is the bestagon!!
I mean, should we respect another -agon?
cool mechanic and neat art. Sfx fit in well and round up on a well made game
Glad you liked it Daham! Sound is one of those things usually you leave for last but have a real impact on the experience. I wanted to reproduce and arcade.
nice concept with the covid and immunity system haha cool!
Thanks! I was concern that people might though it was insensitive; but couldn't resist the idea of an organic twin stick shooter.
I really like your concept! Though, I had a glitch where trying to move quickly made me clip through the wall, and I couldn't get out, though weirdly reading the other comments it seems maybe this is just me
It's rare but happens, sadly I found the solution 10 after the target. Here's why: Unity Rigidbody collisions can be ignored due to speed, the fix is to set the detection from discrete to continous in the Rigidbody options. Just... one... selection in a dropbox... yeah.
that was great, cool idea and I loved the extra element of the power ups. I did however think that where the enemies are instantiated was a little close to the player. great stuff.
Thanks for the feedback.
I agree, at some point I wanted to add something that avoid spawns if the player is above a spawn point or making them appear outside and enter the Pietri dish.
wow that was fun. I like how you used the theme on the game.
Thanks Max! Glad you liked it.
I was worried that keeping track of the color combination would be too demanding with the intense shooting.
do you wan't to go check my game ou
out.
I wrote my feedback just now :D
I liked it a lot, I would recommend more forgiving collisions, still nice mechanic!
Fun, little game. The level of polish for a 2 day jam was really high.
Thanks Alex!!! Glad you liked it. Yeah, it was a rush to get it on time but it was fun.
