Super theme fitting and it was super fun to try out every single combination. It reminded me a bit of Naruto because of that. The game feel is solid, the audio feedback is on point, and the variety of powers are cool. One thing you can improve, the waves. 99% of the games in this jam did this the other way around, they were too hard in the start. I think yours is too easy. It's an easy fix. If you can improve the challenge and the rhythm you are good to go! Awesome Entry!

Thank you so much for playing and the feedback! Yeah I do agree the enemies are way too easy at the moment, we originally plan for each type of enemy to have their respective ability, the tank can charge, the smaller ones will leap/sprint and range enemies that will make juking harder. Besides that, the terrain was originally planned to be more complex too, with canyon alleys, dead end route water bodies, etc, but in the end we reduce it to fit the time scope we are given. Still I'm fairly satisfied where we got to in less than 48 hours and this being my first game jam hahah . Well, once again, thank you for playing our game and good luck to you!
Love the idea of use the different elements in different combinations. I do feel like the balance of the abilities needs a little work. As is I just tried to find fires since those were the only ones that felt worth it since they killed the fastest
Really fun and very cohesive - amazing work for a game jam and would be interested to see if you continue with the idea once the jam is over?
Fantastic concept which was implemented really well with the gameplay and graphics, awesome job! :D
BTW that start screen might be one of the smartest ones I've seen! Looked fun and made me realise the main mechanic even before I had started the game, smart stuff!
Nice particle effects. The spell effects are clear enough to figure out what they do during gameplay. Enemy designs remind me of neon genesis evangelion which is great.
I really liked the "alchemy-ish" theming, and also learning about all the element combinations (I did not read until after I played the game). After I learned what they all did it got a bit frustrating not finding the elements I was looking for (until I found a strategy that used them all). If the game was developed further into something fuller and gave me a reason to want to see a next level (or even novel enemies), I could see playing a lot more of this.
I like how this game focuses on multiple combinations of elements instead of just one.
Design wise I think it is great, though I do think it has too much whiteness (bright), thus it can be eye-soring for the long run.
I am sure this game has a great potential in the action/fantasy genre. I am looking forward for more.
Great art & music!
I wish there were more original ways to use spells to make this game stand out from already mentioned Magika
Really solid game for the jam though!
Fun game, balance can be worked on since some spells seem less useful than the others. Love the art and music!
This is very creative and fun! You should definitely keep working on this game, it is really interesting. It think it would be cool if player's had the ability to stack up spells -- I was trying to surround the enemies with mud puddles and then blast them but I couldn't collect elements fast enough. Overall, great job!
