I was confused about what do to at first but it was easy enough to understand hat was happening. Maybe add an animation of the crab picking up the box? good puzzles and simple yet effective. I liked the car on the first screen, added some mystery to the game. hehe great job.

Developer(+1)

Yeah I wanted to make the player's hand reach out when getting closer to boxes but time.. :(.

Thanks so much for the nice comment!

Really interesting concept! Would love to see more levels!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I'll continue working on this project after the jam is over.

Cool idea, first I did not understand why I picked it up and could not throw it but it fits very well with the theme! Maybe the pickup radius could be a little shorter, it sometimes felt like I was picking up boxes very far away, but either way good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I wanted to have a dialogue in game to explain what's happening but ran out of time.

The radius is indeed too big, it's because otherwise you could skip the box jumping puzzles due to the way the physics are set up. I need to experiment around with that some more

Very nice art style, reminds me of Downwell 😊

Developer

Thanks! I didn't have time for the tileset but I'm really happy with the character and the car hah.

OK, so I should say the game is great, it's a pity it's so short. The idea feels nice and fresh. It took me some time to realize I should take 1 box not to take more. I managed to pass a couple of levels though with just careful jumping :) BTW the platforming is good :) And as for the art, it's just awesome. I like such style, like Downwell, for example. It's a pity I could not hear music :( maybe something with my audio settings. Anyway, great job! I liked this one.

Developer

Thank you! I really wanted to have dialogue to explain the box pickup but ran out of time. It's also the reason there's no sounds :(.

Thank you for playing! The platforming uses Celeste physics values :)

Oh, nice to meet a person who knows something about the industry good platformer examples :) You should know Towerfall then, I like it a lot. I think it shares the same physics :) Anyway, 1 more time good luck and my best regards :)

Very aesthetically pleasing artwork and controls/gameplay felt really nice. Very fun puzzles too. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! Really happy to hear that.

Very unique idea for the theme, I had a lot of fun with the little puzzles and I really like the pixel art - reminded me of Minit!

Very interesting concept ! the black and white simple art fits good with it. Congrats!

Hey, I beat all the levels! :D It was minimal, but very interesting mechanic and well-executed puzzles, I really enjoyed it, good job! I also like the art style that complimented the mood of the game. It could use some music or sound effects of course, but apart from it - really great work!

Congratulations on the game. It's very fun. I like the way you set up the mechanics and the puzzle. Good job!

Developer

Thank you!

Such a great example of making a great game/idea from such a simple mechanic. The auto-pickup mechanic is easy to pick up (haha) and has a lot of potential for more complex puzzles. I wish there were more levels. This game definitely deserves further exploration. It's original and really polished.

Developer

Oh you! Thanks :)

Fun game, a bug I encounter was if my switch pro controller was plugged in, it would keep jumping on its own, unsure if that is on my end or the game thought.

Developer

Thank you for playing. I don't have a switch pro controller so I can't try. Jump is configured to B button on Nintendo controllers.

Interesting idea, neat minimalistic aesthetic. I wish there were sounds! The game felt a bit like a chore at times, I soon realized I could cheese it to jump on a crate near another crate which I think was a bug. I gave up on a certain level where I had to restart after a very long journey with no checkpoint.

Congratulations on the submission!

A very fun game! very original concept as well, I couldn't think of anything for this jam.

I like the simplistic art style, would have loved some simple sounds to accomodate it. Do you have any ideas/plans to expand upon the mechanics?

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I really wanted to get sounds in and a bit of dialogue so it's clear why the boxes are picked up but ran out of time.

I want to continue working on this, add sounds, improve the tileset and add more puzzles. I have a few different ideas in mind for other items and obstacles.

Thanks for playing and leaving a nice comment!
