Nice concept! I also encountered some bugs, but I think your game is good and has potential! Good job

As for the music, you said you created the vast majority of it during the game jam, but it's actually a soundtrack called The Dashing Young Falconer made by John Debney in 2011 and used in the Sims Medieval..

Indeed we did not pay attention to this question, were not aware of the addition of time to publish the game and we were really stressed not to be able to return the game in time.

Thank you for pointing it out to me, I changed the answer to the mcq.

No problem! And again, good job you made a great game

I had a lot of fun but uhh....

I don't think this is supposed to happen

I did also encounter the bug after which I could not place any quest master anymore. Otherwise it is a very harmonic and consistent game. However if you do not understand the mechanic fast enough the guys run straight into the dragon in a very short time period. Maybe have a quest master let them run into a tavern first, to demonstrate the working mechanics as I thought they are drawn to my mouse clicking. Lovely art <3

When placing a cross next to the quest master, the game breaks and does not allow you to set the quest masters or delete them anymore. But i catch this only 2 times, then it is disappeared and i can't replicate it.

It is very illogical that you cannot heal units in the original city and you have to die when you take the 2nd level.

Units intermittently ignore your orders for no reason, sometimes a unit just walks off to the dragon in the middle of the way.

And is it a feature that your 2 units can fight with themselves? complicates automation a bit and annoys.

The visual style on the other hand is very good, as is the music. The basic explanation and art is also great. The concept is interesting, the main gem loop is a bit boring though and comes down to farming this type of unit, then this one, then this one. Of course, kill 10 skeletons, 10 slimes and 10 wyverns, but it gets boring pretty quickly on both sides of the role.

the art style/ the illustrations are amazing! but i really cant understand how to play or what i should do!

Amazing art and visual style, and interesting gameplay loop. Great job!

Such great work! The art was fantastic, the environment was really immersive, and I enjoyed the storyline. I also found it a fun, chill game, one that I could play after a long day to just unwind and not have to think too hard about, but still get stuff accomplished and feel entertained.

As some other players have mentioned, I had a hard time with the learning curve for how/where to place my NPCs in order to have the troops lock on (I assumed they would latch on anywhere along the line, but realized that I had to place the NPC directly in their path for it to work). Otherwise, solid game!

Very nice

It's a very pretty game, and the concept is great. It's just lacking in technical execution and design. The sense of progression is poor and the difficulty ramp is strange. I would've liked to work through some cool chains that make XP mills but the way the heroes fight each other makes that extremely difficult. Solid foundation to build on, but not there yet.

Very cool concept but unfortunately the NPCs don't always work as expected. Maybe showing their range of action can definitely improve the game.

Unfortunately there are some lacks in the tecnical implementation that make the game hard to play, but concept is very cool and I would love to see more of it!

Very well done, would love a speed up and reset button but fantastic for the jam.

Cool concept and incredible art and music! The gameplay is a bit jank and boring, and after a while I couldn't place anymore NPCs even though I removed the ones I used.

Your artwork and style is on point! I really like this idea and I think this could make a great strategy/RPG hybrid if you decide to build on the concept after the jam. Maybe you could even incorporate an inventory/economy so that you could amass items and gold that you could reward adventurers with when they return to you.

Great idea but I struggled with the controls

Amazing presentation! I a bit of trouble with the controls unfortunately.

If you wanted to expand on this concept further, I think it would be cool to experiment with swarm behaviors (i.e., ants and pheromones) to have a more engaging set of player actions.

I really like this idea, it's a cool concept. Unfortunately, I found directing the troops a little bit tricky, they just didn't want to listen to the NPC's I put down. I'd really like to see the whole guild master aspect expanded upon, it gave me Dungeon Master vibes which is pretty unique.

Very creative and fantastic presentation.
