Nice 3D art, was fun figuring out how to avoid the lasers, definitely would work well as an addictive mobile game!
My ship got zapped in the first tower:) Great game, love the graphics!
Oof, once I started playing, I couldn't put it down until I beat it. Great job on the music and visuals too!
Never in a million years would I have thought of making a game from the perspective of a tower defense wave! Super creative. Very difficult too, you basically have to constantly be moving back and forth to dodge the towers. Seems like they aim directly in front of the player, so bouncing around is the only chance at survival. Well done!
Fun little game, love the artstyle
Fun and addictive! Nice use of negative feedback loops for making it easier to complete with fewer ships. Love the art style!
One thing about the game is that the boost is shift. I think it would be a bit smoother if boost was space bar, and my computer has tried activating sticky keys multiple times while playing this.
Amazing game. Difficult, but addictive. I reached the end with ONE SHIP. Then it zoomed out and I yelled, "IS THAT A HEALTH BAR?!".
Wave 1...i still have nightmares about being part of wave 1...Private Eugine didn't make it.
Anywaaaay, Fun Game!
Enjoyment: Mechanically the game appears simple, however if I am not mistaken, those big blasts aim in front of the position of the player units, so it created a nice incentive to do fakeouts to get around them and not get trapped in certain death situations with blasts and zappers.
Creativity: I have seen reverse tower defense games, but not one that focused on a single wave, so i thought that was pretty funny and a nice twists! I loved the base health bar bit at the end when you've successfully reached the base, made me smile. The health bar bit really cemented your take on the them so props on that!
Presentation: I loved the visuals, like top points on presentation for sure. It was rather lowfi feeling which fit the game really well. I also enjoyed watching my ships get taken out a little too much haha. I think the game also sounded really nice(the enemy blast sound was especially satisfying).
Thanks for sharing, congrats on your submission.
Y'all did great nice job! Music turned out really good!
A fun game that seems like these mobile game ads. Controls are great and presentation is very cool! It's quite difficult but fun. These zappers with their targeting telegraphs are really cool. But sometimes it seems like they unfair. Together with these stationary coils, they placed their target in the only way possible and i died. :(
The gameplay is really cool, i love how the control is loud it forces the player to care even more to his moves
I really liked the music, and there is a cut at the end of the music track so it does seems a bit repetitive but doing such a good track in 48H is already very good :) the SFX are clear and enhence the experience
And about the art part, it is very simple and clear, maybe it is not the best fancy looking game but it serves well the gameplay
Anyway, you can be proud of your game, well done !
The presentation (visual and audio) is stylish and beautiful - I love it. Took me about a dozen tries to beat the game. I wish there were more. :)
Very well done! The movement has some serious weight to it in a very good way, and baiting the lock on towers is very interesting.
Love it! Gameplay is engaging and the art is themed and executed well. Congrats to the team that works on this project.
I could definitely see this on a tiktok beneath a family guy clip
now that you say that, I totally see it.
