How does your game fit the theme?
The role of the pause menu is traditionally to stop the game so you can go get a snack. I reversed the role of the pause menu so that you must use it in a creative way to reach the goal!
Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?
We used pre-existing art
Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?
We created the vast majority of the music during the game jam

Cool game about thinking outside the box. I couldn't get past the brightness level though. Couldn't change my actual screen brightness. But over all, cool game.
Great idea and execution, I'm impressed by how well the mechanic works! The puzzles are very well made and leverage the different settings well. At times I feel the pause menus do feel to deviate a bit from how pause menus are conventionally structured to of course serve the purpose of puzzle design, I wonder if it's possible to make puzzles in this format with standard menus ripped from other games. Overall amazing work!
Really cool idea, with tons of great twists and clever puzzles! I love the presentation, and how each settings actually change something in the games visuals and sounds. The game is also full of lovely details, like the random background, the menu sound-design, or the bonking when jumping! Levels get pretty tedious from the 10th one though. I couldn't get past the 11th: I see the solution, but it's too hard to execute. I still had a really nice time with it!
Thank you for the feedback! I completely agree that the levels start to get tedious, great puzzles shouldn't be too difficult or time consuming to execute once you figure out the solution. I'm working on a full version with more levels and mechanics and I will try to include a lot more unique puzzles that dont involve a bunch of box moving, but there will have to be some.
Phenomenal Masterpiece of a Game! The concept is incredible! My jaw dropped when I discovered the player can interact with the sliders in the pause menu. The puzzles are interesting, clever, and satisfying. The game is fully polished with great visuals, sound effects, and entertaining puzzles. Very Nice Work, Fantastic Job!
Very cool game! 😄
At first I thought it was just going to be a simple “you add two more platforms”, but then I realized the sliders exist, and it added a whole new dimension of mind-bending possibilities!
I also like how each level adds a bit of complexity, and so you don’t get overwhelmed at the very start!
Great job! 😊
That is such a neat idea!
I just had a bug in the second level - I had the time slowed down so to try and jump on that and I chnaged the FOV slider so its inbounds but I failed the jump and everytime I changed FOV my character got only smaller so in the end the particle effects from walking were twice as big
Incredible level design. Full of eureka moments that make you feel like a cheater (the best kind). Very fun, amazing job!
Great idea! Everything was on point! Smooth and entertaining! Good job! :)
It’s such a cool and unique idea. It’s something that’s simple mechanically, but an interesting one and a ton of fun.
Makes me wonder why I didn’t think outside the box as much as this game did.
It looks great. I donť know if the shrinking of character model is intentional or not but it creates another level of challenge.
WHAT AN AMAZING GAME!! The Idea and Execution is INSANE. How did you do this in 2 Days!?!?
