Fun experience, good level design! Thanks a lot for the forgiving savepoints :D
Thank you! Yeah, I have made the mistake of including no checkpoints before and didn't want to make it again.
i like the level design! i would work the cameras sometimes its a little too zoom in make me cant see much of the levels
Thank you for the feedback!
Great use of poetry and music to set such pleasant tone for the game! I also actually appreciated the shortness of the game! It was a nice lil refreshing game with a calming effect. Overall, great game :)
Thank you for the kind words! I was hoping the game would come across that way. While I didn't manage to add everything I wanted to, I am glad you found its simplicity appreciative!
Great game! I did get stuck on one level because of the hitboxes but apart from that it was fun! I also love the pixel shader that you’ve used!
Thank you! Yeah, hopefeully, after the jam I will get the colliders fixed.
Love the intro poem and general vibe of the game! The music is very relaxing :)
On the downside some of the hitboxes felt rather unfair. It wasn't too bad though because there's checkpoints :)
Thanks! Yeah, I wish I had noticed that before rating started.
Nice game. I really liked the rhymes and the music!
Thank you! I had a lot of fun working on it.
I really loved the Pixel Shader! As well as the rhymes in the start & the end. Though I kinda didn't get how roles reversed did fit, but maybe I'm missing something. Regardless very cute game!
Edit: Maybe should've read the description, haha :P
Thanks! I had fun coming up with the rhymes :D
Fun game, but definitly harder than the music make it seems haha. Favorite detail is how we can bump the floaters a little. Or maybe we cant and the movement and sound makes it satisfying, not sure.
Thank you! Yeah, the bumping is in fact a feature, I am glad you noticed it!
Cool game, very emotional. Would love to see more!
Thank you! I always try to sneak in some sort of message into my games, and it being a take on a fairy tale made that a lot easier.
I really liked the pixelated appearance. I'm glad the duckling decided to go back home :)
Thank you! I have always wanted to make a game in this style and this jam was a great oppurtunity to do so.
The ducks are adorable:D I liked the game
Thank you! The art style changed a lot during development but I ended up with something I was happy with.
Nice game :D and way more challenging than expected, especialy because its very pixelated :)
Thanks! Yeah, the game is a lot more difficult than it seems, although with proper timing and precision the crocodiles stand no chance against the duckling 😂.
This was a really relaxing game! The start and ending cutscenes + poems were well written, and the music and sounds were very soothing. I loved the artstyle, and the whole thing being themed around ducks made me very happy :)
Thank you Duckman! I am glad you found the game relaxing. Atmosphere was a big focus point for me making the game. Thank you again for reviewing!

This blurred Duckling game is interestion.
It messed a little with my eyes but overall feel of the game is smooth and fun.
I think there are some small parts where the crocodile can touch you with out the pixels actually touch each other, but it is relatively small.
Thanks for making this game.
Sorry about that, the pixelated style can definitely get a little trippy. I see what you mean with the collisions, I may make the colliders smaller after the jam. Thank you for reviewing!
I'm truly moved. Screw the underwater crocodiles tho.
😅 Thank you! Yes, those crocodiles are not being very nice to the duckling.
The sfx were relaxing and glorious and I liked the idea of the The Ungly Duckling reversed. The poems at the start and end were also very well made and it was fun and both relaxing to play it.
Thank you! I had a lot of fun thinking about the poems. I usually don't add too many sound effects in my games, although I had an urge to make some this time and it was very enjoyable.
what a powerful story. The music was so soothing too
Thank you, I had a lot of fun coming up with rhymes for the little story sections 😀

Love the pixelated look, the sound design is great and the overall aesthetic is very calming
Thank you! I was inspired by some piano pieces I been listening to recently and decided to make a little orchestral version for the music. I'm glad you found it calming 😀
really cool art style!
Thank you! I have been playing around with 3D art styles lately and wanted to try this look out.
