Pretty enjoyable game. Got 738 points in nearly 9 minutes.
My main complaint for this game is mostly on the controls. The clicking is a little bit unresponsive and can result in you losing points without actually executing the abilities.
The camera moving is fine, although the W key doesn’t work for some reason, so you have to use both the cursor and the keys to move around.
The last part of the game where there are a few innocents left is a bit tedious, as you have to zoom in and look around the map to look for the innocents, since they are pretty tiny.
Overall, pretty good game.
Thank you we are glad that you enjoyed playing our game :D
As we only got 48 hours, there's still plenty of bugs, we are going to fix them and add more features in a free post jam update, if you want to be notified you can follow me on itch.io :)
Hi there! We met on discord. Thanks for sharing your game! Once I figured out how to play it was chaotic fun and made me laugh (in a good way!) This game is 100% unique in the jam for me so far. My constructive feedback for future improvements might include a more clear guide for how often and when you can use the powers. I felt like I was just lobbing everything I could at the poor pixel people and not really knowing if I was doing well. C'était vraiment sympa de te rencontrer!
Salut, :D
Merci encore :D

This brings me back to my sim city days where my sole purpose was to build cities I could unleash hell on. Very fun, glad to see it.
Anyhow, you asked for specific unfiltered feedback so here it goes.
My main issue with the game is that it is very difficult to tell who is alive and who is dead. I feel like either removing the dead bodies, or more preferably adding some sort of highlight to all alive islanders would greatly improve the games clarity.
Tiny critique: you can't see bottom island if you're not all the way zoomed out. I would add some empty map below the bottom island so player can move the camera over it without zooming out.
The meteors took too long to appear on screen at all which made me question if my input was registered, and they were very unpredictable which made me not want to use them even more. I would have preferred them to just hit a big circle around the area where I clicked, especially since they were expensive to use.
I feel like the tornado was a little bit missed opportunity, instead of just doing damage it would be really cool if you could use it as a position control thing, pushing survivors together or into the water so you could finish them with sharks and meteors.
If I was redesigning this game, I would reverse it in the sense that it wouldn't be a race to kill every islander, but you would have a specific amount of every catastrophe and your score would be how much damage you managed to do with the resources at your disposal.
Anyway I had fun unleashing the heavens on these guys.
Tornados seem a little OP, enjoyed the task at hand though!
Glad you enjoyed playing our game, we will balance it more in a post jam version :D
Nice game. Although I have seen game similar to this outside the jam.
Thank you, we hope you still liked it even if you had already seen the concept :D
I had a blast playing this game. The game idea is so fun.
Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed it :D
This is so satisfying. Really well put together. I don't know why but my camera was only moving left and right. It would have been better if i could move in all 4 directions. But a really solid game tho!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed playing our game :D
You can move the camera by using WASD or ZQSD or moving your cursor in the edges of the screen. If it does not work maybe reloading the page could solve it.
We will release a post jam version with a better camera controller and more updates, if you want to get notified you can follow me on itch.io :D
This is like a malevolent god simulator! Reminds me a bit of the disasters in SimCity, but you're unleashing them on the populace intentionally.
Chaotic and fun game. Good job. Could have turned down the screen shake a bit, and camera controls were bugged at times. The gameplay loop was super interesting, and a unique take on the theme!
Thank you for your feedback :D
We will release an updated version with a better camera controller, some bug fixes and more features after the jam ends, if you want to get notified you can follow me on itch.io :)
Nice game! It's always fun to create some chaos
Yes indeed, thank you :D
One of the most well-made this jam in terms of the genre of playing as god/boss. You feel powerful, and the VFX is satisfying to watch. My only suggestion is to make fire one more useful. Based on its the cheapest one, you would imagine it is spamming basic attack. But it is only useful once they build a house, but it is relatively late-game content that we don't want it to happen. (maybe more score but I just don't want them to live in a house at all at this point). Also, I think the speed of the people generation should be faster since without them I can't have fun. Play it at 1000 scores, and there is barely anything I can do rather than petting my sharks. They are hungry...
Thank you so much for your review :D
We are taking your feedback into account for the post game jam update :)
Simple loop. Cant understand what fire does. Tornado is really strong and fun to use. Well done
Thank you, glad you enjoyed playing it :D
The fire can be used to burn the forest and the houses.
Interesting twist on the survival genre! The only issue I had was that the camera controls seemed to bug out every once in a while.
Thank you :)
We will fix that in a post jam update :D
Lovely game, the abilities feel really good to use, though they occasionally just don't go off for some reason.
Thank you, we will look into that for the post jam version :D
Fun game. has a bit buggy camera, but still fun.
If you were to make updates to this game, I'd recommend improving its art style and add more disaster options to spawn.
Thank you :)
In a post jam version, we will update the camera, add more disasters and more, if you want to be notify you can follow me on itch.io :D
Very fun game overall. I really enjoyed all of the destruction and the way that the effects were done.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed playing our game :D
Really cool game, and the fact you got a procedurally generated map in two days is awesome. Great job
Thank you :D
Yeah i have done it using perlin noise :)
I think I found a bug to make free points 👀. Otherwise, the idea is realy good and the game feel good ! Just being able to choose abilities via hotkeys would be a good option
Aaahhhh noooo :(
Well, thank you so much for finding it and telling us about it :D
We are definitely going to fix this and add the possibility to choose abilities with hotkeys in a post jam update :)
Can you edit your comment to keep challenge for the other players please ? :)
yes of course !
Is this procedurally generated? Can I call this a roguelike? hehe
Great game, very unique idea. W didnt work for me for some reason but I managed with ZQSD :)
Yes it is :D
Thank you, im glad you liked it :) Indeed the keys are changed, maybe because of webgl, for me it's WQSD that worked, you can also move using the cursor by putting it in the edges of the screen ;)
Took a second to understand but love wrecking havoc! My favorite was the tornadoes with the explosion followed by radiating tornadoes. I'm impressed with the procedural generation too
Thank you for your feedback :D
