Interesting idea. Gameplay is very basic, but level of detail is stunning. Sounds, dark room design, everything is great.

Thank you, I'm glad that you liked it. We plan to tweak it on the future, so we can address gameplay improvements.

The aesthetic was very cool. The idea for the game was very amazing, and I'm disappointed that you ran out of time. I would have been excited to see the full thing. As it is now, its a neat aesthetically pleasing and relaxing counterfeiting experience.

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback. Yeah, and we actually started late, we only had less than 24 hours. But we are planning on improving and making the full experience once the voting period ends.

The concept is really nice!

I tried to fail ,y passports and sometimes failing was harder that getting the right moment  to push the button :D Also after three mistakes there is a picture that appears for a secondm but I cannot see it as the game immediately continues. Would be great to see polished version :)

Yes, the gameover screen is a known issue. I'm not sure what's causing it, it runs perfectly on Unity Editor, it only happens on the browser, but we noticed it to late to fix it. And about the difficulty, in the original design each combination of action/passport would have a different behavior so some would be harder than others. But we could not implement this in time.

Really cool concept, but this is too monotonous, but I still like this game! Glory to Arstotzka! ;)

Thank you very much, we had more plans for the gameplay but we could not manage to do them. It had be simple for scope and time constraints, but we are thinking on improving it in the future.

A great idea and concept and the art style is loyal to papers please as well. The main issue is the gameplay. Its quite repetetive and all of the "skill check" actions have the same movement (going forward and then backwards). There wasn't much use of the map either (other than lore purposes, I guess perhaps a functionality where the people ask for a specific area passport was intended).

However, overall its still a very creative idea and with some more development, the gameplay can be made more enjoyable. Its still a good attempt given the time limit.

If possible could you check out my game? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you so much for your feedback.

Yeah you got it, we definitely intended having the map and different passports because in the original design you would need to select the right passport and fail instantly if you deliver a wrong one. Alongside with this each combination of action/passport would have a different behavior, some would be harder than others. I feel very much for not being able to finish those features, but we started late and only had less than 24 hours.

Right now, I'm not able to check your game because I'm sleep deprived, but I'll look at it during the week :D

Great reproduction of the Papers Please style ! Gameplay is pretty basic and lack challenge though... What works in Papers Please is the impossibility to  check everything correctly before stamping the passeport. What could be great with your game could be to have multiple choice for different elements to had to the passeport (different stamps, photos, informations, precise details) and then hoping that the combination chosen is correct for the person to cross the border.

Developer

These are some great suggestions, thank you very much for your feedback.

It has a good foundation, but it seemed a little lacking in direction. You did a great job of matching the style of the original!

Developer

Thank you very much, we really trying to make a reference while still being original. The gameplay had be simple for scope and time constraints, but we are thinking on improving it in the future.

interesting idea, but the gameplay was monotonous and far too easy. I like the music, though!

Developer

Thank you. Yeah the gameplay is very simples and does not have much depth, but it had to this way for us for scope and time constraints. We are thinking on improving it in the future though.

Gameplay is a bit lacking but i love the idea and the art is neat.

Developer

Thank you very much, we tried our best!

a fun twist on the papers please idea, adds a bit of motor challenge along with the thinking work

Developer

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it.

I love the Idea, but the bar was always behaving the same way, so you could just get infinite points... , but otherwise it really is a great game with a nice twist on "Papers please"!

Developer

Yeah, in the original design each action would have a different behavior, and you also would need to select the right passport and some would be harder than others. But we could not implement those features in time, so we accepted as it is, better than being unable to submit something.
