Epic. Even with any rough edges one could point out, I genuinely think you've made something special here. Great work :D
Thanks :,D
70 attempts later i can see that the monster is one hitting them with the 3rd special power.. nerf required.
Nerf coming in about a week. Stay tuned.
Having some trouble following what's actually happening and I find the first choice a bit odd. There doesn't appear to be any reason to pick lower hp?
Either way, I love stuff like this, just setting up a thing and throwing a simulation at it. Pretty cool. Not sure how scalable that is, but the world needs to more of these type of games :)
A remarkably measured response! But you're right, I made the sim whizz through for testing and never changed it. Also, grinding is bugged.
Still, if you liked the concept just wait until the post jam update. I have big plans. ;)
You know, I'm not really into this whole itch scene, but I just might follow this one, I really am into these "throw stuff in the simulation and see" type games :o
The idea is amazing! Always love games where you can create something and then test it.
Wish it had something more however, like some more visual representations to actually see your boss attacking. Also beeing able to see in game what your ability does, and the enemy too would be cool
Thanks :D
Yeah, animations are pretty much nonexistent. Still, you're right in that it would be nice to have them.
Great idea, well executed and a very nice aesthetic the art and music all fit together well. Building the boss is super interesting and if the heroes grinding glitch was fixed I could spend hours trying out different bosses. Will definitely be waiting for a post-jam version of this one.
Thanks :D
Played this on Mac. My game has also been build with Godot, Safari doesn't work at all, but Firefox or Chrome will, but you need to be patient while it loads (after a few minutes).
I created an indestructible monster. While I was writing this comment I have had 17 attempts. Which is great, I love to win! It would have been great if you had to create multiple monsters and they die naturally after a few days. But hey, you made an interesting games in 48 hours, so good job!
Thanks :D
The original idea was to have 3 bosses of increasing difficulty, but that got cut fairly quickly
Great idea. I thought about it myself, your's take on this is nice and very fitting for the jam. Nice work!
Great minds think alike ;)
Awesome idea! It's fun to build your boss and watch the fight play out!
I was wondering how many attempt the heros were gonna make before they give up, then I saw the info about some bosses being unbeatable. Yay that's mine ;D
Thanks :D
The heroes are pro gamers. They never give up!
Great idea, had fun wondering what the abilities would do.
Thanks :D

Cool idea! Makes me think of Soda Dungeon but in reverse which is sick
Thanks :D
Love Soda Dungeon, so that's a great compliment.
Yeah, I wasn't certain whether the goal was to make a hard, but non-invincible boss, or to just make the hardest boss possible, but I stumbled around and accidentally made something which does a party wipe and out-regens the party's DPS. I watched until attempt 20 and realized that the grinds do nothing.
This could be interesting, but I would definitely enjoy it with more context. Good job.
Thanks, you're the first to realize the grinds do nothing, it's bugged. Originally, the heroes scaled exponentially, and the goal is to have them win by the smallest margin possible. But people seem to like being the unbeatable boss.
Finally, now I can feel like the impossible bosses on some RPGs :). It's very satisfying see every attempt of the AI player unfold to decant in failure jajaja. ¡Felicidades!
Mil gracias! : D
Neat concept, though needs some balancing later on
That's what you are for *wink* *wink*
Oh, but I want to be a pig boss, why here is no pigs?(
Btw, interesting idea!
Made a Pig Boss sprite just for you <3
Omg, this is my best day ever! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! <3
Hey, I just released Boss Builder 1.0. Go there and choose "Health, Sweep, Execute". There's something waiting for you.
I like being the big bad boss that cannot die.
Thanks :D
Really fun
Thanks :D
Accidentaly build a beast of a boss and ran the heroes over. I believe it needs a kinda cost system for building a boss other than that cool entry
Heroes were meant to scale, exponentially no less, but alas, it's bugged...
Honestly, I'm just happy the game is playable.
BTW: Your game is COOL!
Thank you very much
I believe I've created the most powerful boss in all the existing video games in the world. Invincible! Ahaha. A truly original idea and an excellent interpretation of the theme, combined with cute icons. Great submission, well done!
Thanks :D
Invincible bosses are a result of subtle yet game breaking bug (heroes should scale after grinding, but they don't,). Glad to hear the game is still fun regardless.
I really like the art style (especially the blue dragon) 😊
Thanks :D
I took the basics from https://game-icons.net/ and spent some time coloring them.
