Ahh, I've finally played the game. Pardon my late appearance!
I'll try to add original takes onto the pile of feedback.
First of all, I like that you allow some silly interactions a lot. I did NOT expect to be able to blow my clone up, and lose haha
Secondly, I admit that the art needs some work, but the animations are pretty nice
And, most of all, I have to mention level 2's magnet. I absolutely did not expect to be able to walk mid-air, so the solution went waaay over my head.
Despite that one, the rest of the levels were pretty neat.
Appreciate what you've achieved - I think you did amazingly well!
Keep on fighting,
Blawnode.
Very nice game. Good job
Fun game concept. I have not seen drag and drop movement often, an original take.
I agree with the comments of most people (eg. some sound would be nice, walking could have been better (run until hit something for example, or make it easier to predict/select amount of steps…)
Good job in creating this in 48h.
This is a fun game with a great concept. Could maybe make the gender swap button a bit clearer and also add some music or sound effects, otherwise good job!
The gameplay wasn't too bad, but I agree with many of the things @Panda-S0 said. The gender button should definitely be with the other controls and having keyboard use instead of drag and drop would be a major control improvement. All-in-all though solid submission for a solo dev in 48 hours. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the review , I have not allowed the Keyboard inputs as I was trying to fit in the theme that we cannot control the player , instead we assign tasks in the game to player, machines , obstacles etc. But I agree Keyboard control will be good for user experience.
it was fun overall but we noticed some stuff
whenever we restart the first lever it displays the story all over again, and we keep spamming the skip button every time xd
having the gender as the only thing in the sittings make the sitting button not useful, would be better if it was shown on the screen already, just as Coding4rtist said.
selecting the operations with numbers, we believe it will make it easier to play the game cuz we're kinda too lazy to move the mouse to the bottom of the screen every time XD
level 2, the human can walk if we just told them to move when they're pulled with the magnet, walk on air , and if we dropped the wrench and tried to grab it again while falling it just falls through the screen into the void ig xd, and if we grab the wrench while still in the walking animation it'll be grabbed but the magnet wont pull you up.
level 3, we can duplicate the human multiple times if we just spam the E key
and finally, the restart button at the end doesn't restart xd
but overall, it was a nice game and we had fun, keep it up.
Thanks for the very detailed review , You are right about the bugs , I also encountered some of them , but unable to fix that due to time limitations as I was the solo person, But glad you pointed out each bugs that will help me in making this game bug free after JAM ends.
understandable, good luck ^-^
This game looks fun, But how do I move?
Drag drop from the bottom menu
Needs a bit of polish, but it is quite enterteining to play :)
Thanks for the review , I played your game and It was a 5 star Game for me , I enjoyed in every aspects playing your game ,
Good idea, needs polish
Thanks for the review
I really like the idea! I think you can expand this idea with a few improvements to make it a full release. You could start by displaying the gender switch button on the screen right away, as it is one of the main game's mechanics (I was stuck on the first level for a while, thinking it was the settings button). Apart from that, I really like the artwork. It's a nice game. Good job!
Thanks for the Detailed review , I will keep these things in mind further.
I liked the idea, and the design of the controls, sadly a bit too short but in the long run it might be a really nice game ! I had a nice time !
Cool, the puzzles felt a bit easy and the UI is a bit clunky, but overall a creative entry for the jam
Very creative idea! Would make for a cool mobile game. If something were to improve, it might be the ui, and visual polish.
Thanks for the review , It encourages.
i didn't enjoy this very much sadly, i found the puzzles too slow and unsatisfying to solve, but that could be just me considering what the other comments are saying
also the fact that you have to be male to be able to operate machinery is a little questionable...
I will say i really liked the idea for the story, i think it's a very good and creative interpretation of the theme
Thanks for the honest review , I will try to do more next time , and that male point is not accurate , I made it that girl is kid so she can't operate and male is the main scientist in the game so he knows.
very intresting idea, pretty fun. liked it!
Thanks for the review.
Most fun submissions I've played! Really cool how much humour you were able to fit in. Only minor complaint I have is that the UI was a bit clunky to use, especially the walking.
thanks for the honest review , you are right about the UI , I had a different plans for that but unable to implement on time , Glad you pointed out , so i will fix that after JAM
How a lot of mechanics built into this puzzle game during a 48h Jam. Well done!
Thanks for the kind review bro , Instead I have also ideate more features such as Time Travel Machine , Balloon to make kid fly etc , but can't get time to create all.
love puzzle games, this one was tough! Art was really cool too.
Thank you for the Review bro.
Nice puzzle game. It reminds me that one you should definitly try (less puzzle, more time pressure) : https://solroo.itch.io/clayhead
Congratulations for your game !
Thanks for the Review.
Had a few funny moments when you tried to use the wrong commands on some object haha. Definitely a good concept. Wish there was some music. But overall good job.
Thanks for the review bro , Yes you are right music was much needed and I also regret for not getting time for that.
