I thought this game was too hard at first, but it turned out I was just bad at the game. Its really good especially the music!

Developer(+2)

Im guessing you got the hang of it after a bit -  thank you for giving it the time!

We'll be adding a tutorial and a better difficulty curve after the jam - hopefully that alleviates the problem a bit.

Our sound guy killed it here, I agree :)

The game is pretty difficult but when you master it it works like a charm and is really satisfing!

Developer(+1)

Glad to hear you were patient with it!

I agree, it's really hard in the beginning, we're hoping to smoothen that spike in difficulty in the post-jam version :)

Submitted(+2)

had a blast! really unique and fun!

I also made an endless runner haha but your art style so much better

Developer

Very happy to hear that you enjoyed it!

The artist for Raaga performed really well :)

Developer

This was really fun and creative, but definitely too difficult for me. I think being able to flip upside down added a bit of confusion. Loved it anyway! Awesome job!

Developer

I understand completely, the core mechanic is difficult to pick up from the get go - we're trying to resolve this issue by introducing a better ramping difficulty and a tutorial in the post-jam version.

Thank you for playing!

The controls were a bit difficult to get used to, but it’s actually very fitting for the concept! Very thoughtful! The art and music are nice as well :> Good game!

Developer

Thank you very much :) We went all-out with the art and music this time around

Yes, the controls are complex - a gamble hehe

my mouse wheel is somewhat broken so i had to use arrow keys, but this is a pretty fun take on the theme. it was pretty difficult even without the handicap of the mouse wheel, but like, in a good way

Developer

:) Thank you for the kind words

Out of curiosity - what sensitivity where you playing on with the arrow keys?

Submitted(+1)

i can't remember but i think it was around half of the default sensitivity

Developer

Ah, okay - I'll use this info to balance the sens in the post jam version

Fellow mouse wheel user gang rise up!

Loved the concept, the controls are hard to get the first time but I think this is not a bad thing. It tested my hand-brain coordination a lot.

Good work!

AYYYYYYYY, DANGER MOUSE IN THE HOUSEEEEEEE

So happy to hear you gave the controls a chance... theyre definitely not standard haha. Thank you for playing Raaga!

This was really fun! The switching between top-and-bottom parts to stretch and scale your way around is really neat, and I super-duper love the framing of people sharing music on music forums as a narrative aesthetic.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Glad to hear that you enjoyed it.

The forum page is very cool, I agree! It helped wrap the whole game snugly into the lore very well.

Thanks for submitting this on stream! This was a really fun game once I got the hang of it. There is definitely a steep learning curve but with some perseverance it was really enjoyable. The concept is super cool and the graphics+audio are epic.

Excellent job!

Developer(+1)

It was awesome to see you learn the mechanics and become better as the game went on! Very happy to see you loving the visuals and music - some really talented people worked on it.

Cheers!

It was a bit hard with the controls at first but it's a banger once you get the hang of it. Really amazing mechanics! I love it! This has a lot of potential!

Developer(+1)

Very happy to hear you enjoyed it :) Thank you so much for the kind words and for trying the game out

I agree fully, it has potential. I'll be doing a post-jam release for Raaga without fail - taking into account all the wonderful feedback we received!
